hmm, what is leatherjacket lol?

^ yep, haha, i wondered if someone would ask that. they don't have scales, but, rather a leathery jacket that is pulled from, or, skinned from the fish. they also don't have many bones and a nice white succulent flesh that is quite mild in flavour. they can be be difficult to catch as they kind of suck with their really small mouth, long shank hooks required and a deft fisho ability, haha.

* jatz crackers with vegemite and edam cheese.

ahh i thought it might be a fish..then again maybe its slang for cow lol...

had two ham and cheese toasties. good quality local ham and sharp cooper cheese on a little ciabbata roll with some kery gold irish butter and a little black pepper toasted in the oven till warm and melted.

I caught one in Sydney harbour once. I decided not to eat it.

I dare say that was a wise manoeuvre. They are tricky little fuckers to hook hey. Always heaps around wharf pillars lurking.

* prawns and avocado rolls with pepper and white balsamic

This has me decided I will be making tiger pie for dinner tonight mmm nostalgia!

It's certainly an acquired taste, vegemite that is.
