I honestly can't say I've ever seen anyone tweaking like that in public. I've been all over the East Coast and don't remember anything like that. My initial reaction was to say 'all of them', but that's not fair to the meth users out there. Most of the people I know who use, you wouldn't even be able to tell they were high.

i can't say i can tell the difference between some mentally ill people and tweekers.

i was in washington state usa and there was probably more weird people than boston area... i haven't been too many places to compare. i always thought washington and oregon had a lot of hippies, so probably people tweeking out there.. when i was in washington it was a season when a lot of the nomad homeless rainbow kids were there. i think they go down to california when it's colder and go to washington to pick shrooms during that time.

Pretty much everyone I know uses on a daily basis. I've been using regularly for close to 8 years. Strangely enough I've seen more guys acting that way, not many females. I agree with the comment about it being difficult to tell the difference between the mentally ill and someone tweaking. There's a guy with tourrettes around where I live. I would think he was in a deep psychosis if I didn't know better. He's constantly talking about the FBI and giving people directions. Let me clarify. He's giving directions to people who aren't there. I think that would raise an eyebrow or two for those who didn't know.

Grew up on the coast of Maine, spent a few years for college in Tampa, then lived in Portland from 2021 until about 7 months ago. Portland was cool but between the gentrification and the violence, it wasn't really worth it anymore.

Within an hour of both Gainesville and Jacksonville, way out in the sticks trying to set up a personal supply cactus farm tbh. Got engaged, and have land here so we're building on it once we can. There's a weird pipeline from the northeast to Florida in my experience, I call it the "snowbird corridor" when talking to my Maine friends about it hahaha.

When I was an active alcoholic (for many, many years) I used to  hate obnoxious/violent drunks more than anything. I always said "Goddamn drunks. They give alcoholics a bad name."
