What Can Completely Ruin Your Roll???

Any obstacle in my life while im rolling is a killer. Not having weed on the comedown. The sun rising. Being arrested with E on me while im peaking (got away with it somehow =D ) Anything that interferes with my love for being a lazy ass. And finally...being wired while I have to go to sleep because of a responsibility the next day.

I dont mind to sun rising that much, especially if you are still rolling or have dropped late in the night providing that you have no obligations that day or night. its quite a beautiful thing to watch...

my ultimate roll killer having people that dont enjoy them selves or not selecting a decent group of people to have a roll with.
 
The ultimate killer for me is when I'm in the club and feeling damn good, then walking outside to leave and it's cold as balls! Cold weather never fails to kill my roll. I can be having the best time evah and walk out into some cold weather nd be totally sober. That shit sucks.

im glad i aint the only one that gets sober from cold air

I always wanted to go to one of them full moon parties or an outdoor rave but dont think id be able to get high outside!!!!

Well, it really depends on the temperature. I have roll parties at home and when the weather is nice, I can go outside and chill without a problem. Now, that's only if it's fairly warm out that night.

I have a small rave to go to this weekend and the temp is supposed to be a low of like 50, so I'm not sure how that's gonna go. Hopefully well, I'll be mighty pissed off if my roll goes away, because I rented a hotel room for the afterparty. I'll be mad if I wasted all that money. Not to mention all the preparation I'm going to be making to the room before the show for the (hopefully) good times to follow it.

i'm one of those that never shut up sometimes. usually i'm too fucked up to talk or hold a conversation and even when i do it's hardly coherent but there are those times when i just cannot STFU. i love to talk, no doubt.

Any music that is not psy-trance, hardstyle, nu-skool happy hard, freeform or gabber (hardcore dance). No room to dance, the sun, people who get emotional (ie. whingy).
 
Even though each have been posting in this thread:

*Shit DJs - one night a few weeks ago, was enjoying an awesome night in Geelong, the next DJ comes on and plays with no structure, little beatmatching and stupid little tricks that just sound crap. Brought me down harder than anything else.
*Hard music - during one of my brothers recoveries, he puts on some hardstyle. Can't stand it *anytime*, let alone while rolling.
*Shit people - ie. people who interrupt you during a D&M with someone else, people who tell you how drug-fucked they are... and most of all, drunk people/angry people.
*The cold.
*A druggy/seedy atmosphere... ie. a club where there's maybe five people dancing, and the rest are just laying down on couches or whatever, all enjoying their rolls, but just a really filthy feeling environment. No smiles, no conversations, just your stereotypical, almost shooting gallery-esque environment. Yeah, maybe I'm being hypocritical, but I like my surroundings to be happy and uplifting.
 
Interesting topic :)

There are a few nuisances that come to mind about this topic, but I would say that the good far outweighs the bad.

  • Perma-cotton mouth. It seems like no matter how much I drink, I'm only temporarily satisfied. Ten minutes later, my mouth is just as dry again
  • Dilated pupils. If we lived in a friendly, caring society, this wouldn't be a problem, but there are times when you just do not want others to know you are on something.
  • Urination. I drank 5 Gatorade-sized bottles of water in a 7-8 hour period and did not have to piss at all until the very end of the night. This is certainly convenient while rolling, but I'm not sure if it's good for your body to drink such massive quantities of water without letting any of it out.
  • Eating. I have zero appetite when I'm rolling, and eating is actually unpleasant. I have to force myself to eat because I know my body needs the food.
  • Not having anyone to talk to during or after the roll. As far as I'm concerned, X will only be done around other people. That's just the kind of drug it is. Interpersonal relations are the best on ecstasy, especially since I'm normally a bit reserved. It's depressing not having anyone to talk to on the comedown though. I just wanted to tell everyone about how great of a drug it is.
  • Sleep after ecstasy. It's hard as hell. I took the pill at 2:50 P.M., got home around 10:30 P.M. and could not even attempt to fall asleep until midnight. And then I woke up around 2:30 A.M. and it took me another hour to fall asleep again. Insomnia is a huge pain in the ass to me. It occurs very infrequently, but when it does occur, I can't stand it.
  • Post-ecstasy depression. I'm not sure if taking multi-vitamins will help, but I will certainly try next time. After my first time doing X, I spent the next few days feeling unusually unmotivated and depressed. I knew that it was a chemical depression due to low serotonin and would eventually even itself back out again, so that made me feel a slight bit better.
  • Uncertainty regarding the pill's contents. This is more pre-roll than anything. Especially when dealing with someone you've never bought from before.
  • Unfriendly people. When I'm on X, I just want everyone to get along and be on peaceful terms. I try to work out other people's problems for them, and when I see people being nice to others, it gives me such a great feeling.

People who get all judgemental when they realise I'm rolling.

One time I had some girl I was talking to (and having a pretty decent conversation with) completely stop talking to me once she realised I was on something. It just made me feel all negative towards her and really ruined my roll.
 
yeah hoojoo, ive had that shit before too. thats why when i roll, i try and stay away from society, and just stay locked in a room full of ppl rolling. that way, nothing can go wrong lol.
 
I was at a concert once and me and about 6 other people were on E. They were shit pills so I wasn't necessarily very high but I was still very happy and energetic. This bitch behind us started making shitty comments about us and stuff though, because we were all very close (on e). She pinched my friends arm and called her thanksgiving turkey, and my friend is very self-conscious. So it ruined her night. I yelled at her, making her the first person ive ever yelled at on e.
 
Nothing!! I went to jail candy flipping and actually got arrested right when I peaked, I even had a good time in jail and I was tripping in there for a solid 8-12 hours!!!
 
finding out that something bad happened to someone your close with DESTROYS my roll. One time my friend's dad came into the club and took him home, I was devestated for like 3 hours. Another time my friend from work called and told me this kid i didn't ever like quit. Even tho i hated him, i was so sad for like an hour. TURN OFF YOUR PHONES.
 
1. Crap music
2. Motormouths, I swear even though Im rolling I bitch them out
3. Driving in my car looking for the afterparty, etc
4. Ppl talking about eating and food
5. Sometimes if Im stressed (work, school) if I think about it when Im rollin..

But usually nothing ruins my roll and if so I just eat another pill, some more trips, and/or smoke weed.
 
Yep had my boss called me while I was rolling to tell me we needed someone at the shop imediatley to fill a order for a customer. I told her NO
