What Brand Syringe is the best? How do I ask for them?

Sorry for all the bitching lately. :| Ive been sober for 2 days, I havent had ANYTHING. And it always makes me grouchy. Especially when I go without the hydrocodone for some reason. TO bad tramadol doesnt work for me, I have a shit ton of them :(
 
at OP. I know you said none of your friends use anymore, but it's a good idea to have someone with you when injecting. Main reason being if something bad happens, there's someone to resuscitate you(or atleast bail and call 911). And it's easier to learn if you have someone to watch and give you instruction.
Just don't let a single person inject you every time. It gives them complete control of you, and it's not a situation to be in as you can easily be taken advantage of.
One last thing, sure you know but if you don't, tramadol lowers your seizure threshold and more than 4 or 500 mg will likely give a seizure. Atleast, unlike hydro/APAP combos, tramadol can be prepped for IV. Just something to know incase you try to do alot of it. Might not get you off but Tram. should atleast take a little sick off if you take it.
 
Well, don't go psycho on me sweetheart, but if your still getting kicks from hydrocodone, then there is no reason to start injecting. That's like someone who is just getting to where they can finish a Marlboro Light going out and buying 2 cartons of Camel non-filters. But I wouldn't dare preach; as you said, we all tried it once, though I hit the vein and registered the first time I ever held a needle in my hand, so some are born just born to bang, I suppose. But if you look like a 14 year old girl, then I can see why they would be hesitant to sell you works. :) I would just try wal-mart, they are super cheap they're and they are nice. IDK why you would outright refuse the hospital thing, but seeing as how your not an IDU(yet!) then it probably wouldn't work anyway.

But yeah, you'll find some, and LLjoe-J(sorry I had too!) is right about having someone on hand; remember that 2.5mg morphine IV is equal to roughly 16.5mg hydrocodone so that's a lot!!! BTW, what do you plan on running? As LLJ said, you can't run hydro, and though you CAN run tramadol, it sn't a good idea, or at least I would think not, as tramadol is a prodrug, giving you more of the serotonin inducing original drug.

Family reasons I cant go to the hospitals.

And no, my point is I know longer get anything from hyrdocodone. Except it calms my stomach, which idk if it does or if its in my head since Im so use to taking them, that i have to keep on with out anything from them.

Now dont get me wrong, hyrdocodone+ beers+ weed, can make me nod for a bit. Even though its not the same, its my only cheap heroin I got, until I track down a H dealer again.

As far as, what Im going to shoot? fuck if I know, I hate to plan stuff out. I have plenty of options, so Ill just be like ok I feel like shooting this today, and go from there.

And I already have asked my best friend to come over when I do this, like I said, Im not stupid, I do think about that stuff. and I dont plan on letting any one shoot me, like you said, I dont want someone to have the control over me. I was just stating that some people say they like the feelings of the drugs better when someone does it for them

Well the BEST syringes would be the BD 31 gauge IV syringes, by those are like $.50 a piece which gets pricey.

These were the kind I always got. One time I got a box of 100 for $12.50 which was great since I would always end up using rigs over and over if I only got a 10 pack. I used short tipped (5/16) even though my veins didn't show just because I wasn't comfortable with the long tipped. One thing you can say when you are asking for syringes is that they are for your dog or cat. Animals get diabetes too. I learned that trick from someone on here, and then there was an episode of House where one guy has a bunch of needles in his car and they're actually for his cat.
 
im in ohio, and its legal to purchase at any pharmacy. i havnt had any isues getting needles. no one has asked any questions. i just bring the bag from my previous bag and say i need two packs of them. thats it. 2 ten packs of 31 gauge shorts cost me 5 bucks or less. if they did ask i would just say they are for my aunt in town for a funeral and she isnt feeling well but it hasnt happened yet. being a girl and not looking terribly the junkie part i think i have better luck, my boyfriend refuses to go buy them becuase he has been turned away before, im guessing becuase of the tattoos on his neck.

29G will almost certainly be uncomfortable, but they will work just fine. 1/2inch is probably a good choice, since your new+I believe you said had small veins, so it will be easier to register with 1/2inch, but watch out, because as good as I am at injection, I still POKED RIGHT THROUGH THE VEIN the last time I had to buy a pack of long tipped needles. Come to think of it, they we're even longer than 1/2inch though,but just saying, I went through on myself, and on a buddy on the same day! His fresh veins had no problem, in fact I literally just pulled the needle back a bit and injected, but I wouldn't risk it with my own veins...

In unrelated news, I got turned down for the first time ever at Wal-Greens! I have been buying my syringes at the same store for about a year, and all of the sudden, this bitch pharmacist who I have never seen before said that she wasn't going to sell them too me for any reason other than insulin, because they we're "insulin syringes". When I said I have been getting them here for a year, she said it didn't matter, that the DEA had been "cracking down". I told her that was bullshit, because buying syringes is 100% legal in this state, she literally just shook her head and said "I don't care".
I just walked out pissed after that, I didn't want to cause a scene because the other 2 pharmacists who I have bought from a hundred times and even the guy who acted like he didn't want to sell them to me, still sells them, and I didn't want to blow that.

But seriously, WTF is wrong with people??? I explain the law, which she had to have already known, and literally says "I don't care.."
I would like to deny her fatass donuts, and see how she likes it!!!:X

And Lol, yes, Im sure it will be uncomfortable. But its going to be at first anyway, right? But starting a bit big I guess isnt all bad, once I get a label proving I have syringes it should be easier to buy at a store( I hope). Then I can go for 31G. Also Ill be able to say "hey 31g is a nice feel" or whatever.

They should arrive soon, tomorrow or Friday I would think. I was given a 2-3 shipping days.

Maybe she likes to have control.
 
Since I had to buy a car I havent the money until next week to find something I can actually shoot up. But I figured I would try to see if I could even register. The first try I couldnt do it, I was just sooo fucking tired, and didnt want to try any more and said fuck it. I tried again the next night and got it easy. :) And I have tried a couple more time and got it. So at least I know I can do that. Lol.
Now I just have to find something, or if Im really lucky maybe I can find someone to spot me. Usually with pills I can get them right then and just make payments when I have money, if I go through this one dude.
But I doubt Ill find anyone else to do that with anything worth my while.

Anyway, that was just a little update. When I actually get shit Ill post it up again and tell you all how it went.
 
one thing to note is that it will be much easier to register with a larger gauge (smaller number) than a 30 or 31 gauge, so I would actually recommend that you try a 28 or 29 for your first times, then switch to a smaller gauge to avoid tracks.
 
uh. so i guess it wasnt bad that i got 29g my first time. Lol. They havent left marks when I was practicing (dont want to waste a hit), but i do know the bigger and more you use one site instead of rotating will cause track marks.
 
went to a friends house and asked for a rig and he gave me this tiny ass needle. looked it up online and it was a bd ultra fine III 3/16" 31g. they are like $50+ a fucking box and although they go in really easy, they are only useful in the hands

I just order whats cheapest. just got some easy touch 30g 5/16" 1cc from sears for a great price. the only rigs I refuse to use (unless it's a dire situation) is the monojects.
 
Sears like the store or is it a brand? I like the 29g I got, but I think I will go to a 30g next time just so its not so noticeable. Seeing how they get clogged easy, I dont think Ill go to a 31g.

Whats wrong with the Monojects?

the monojects... just suck. every aspect... not sharp, plunger is stiff, poor quality. and the individual wrapping thing pisses me off tbph.

5/16th is too short for me, 3/16th thats just insane lol.. only a few hand surface veins can be reached with a 5/16th" on my body. For me 1/2" is the required sizse, and allows me to hit whatever. I 6'215lb so i got some fat to go through. 3/16th wouldnt do shit but thats for me. Itd work on my girls hand prob

my favorite needles are what the exchange gives, Terumo 28g 1/2" .5cc. Or 1cc. Terumo brand fuckin rocks..they are the BEST for a beginner..the plunger is the easiest to manipulate of any brand. BD being one of the hardest. After some practice youll be able to iv using both hands with any syringe brand.

I will warn you, EASYTOUCH is the worst brand of syringe you can buy. They are dull.. 1 in 10 are defective, the plunger play is so loose these thiinggs are a joke, I had got a box and just gave them away, they truely sucked ass worse syringes I have ever used. Do not waste money on this garbage..spend an extra 50cents and get a legit brand. These things are not worthy of injecting into a horses ass.

I will use anything too.. walgreens brand, cvs, bd, the best syringes ut there are Terumo. Some may disagree but IMO they are the end-all syringe perfect in every way guaranteed to pop a boner

I've gone through a couple hundred EasyTouch 29g 1/2" 1CC, never had a problem IM or IV. Plunger's easy to manipulate but secure, and I've only experienced one defective (dull) needle. Tip was curled down and blunted, so I tossed it and moved to the next. They always slide easily and comfortably into the deltoid which is a pretty good indicator of sharpness. While I haven't used enough brands to make a firm recommendation, ET is far from awful--they are dirt cheap though. Perhaps quality control isn't great and you got a box from a bad lot? Nonetheless, I'm going to buy some Terumos in case ETs are generally dull--defective needles aside. I scar easily enough as it is. If I love the Terumos, I'll just use my remaining ET for IM only.
