I've gone back to finishing off "The 13 1/2 lives of Captain Bluebear." Great book. Despite what it looks like, it's not a children's book!

Just finished Orpheus Rising by Colin Bateman. It was just ok, I felt it lacked depth but would make a good movie kinda thing.

Better is The Fermata by Nicholson Baker which I've just started. It's down right dirty, and disturbing :D

"...addresses erotic life and fantasy. Arno Strine likes to stop time and take women's clothes off..."

Highly recommended for pervs =D

Alone in Berlin is great, half way through it, not read it for a while though.

Have I mentioned Carlos Castaneda's books here before? Consume my life for several years.

Stephen Donaldson's Thomas Covenant trilogy is a very well written, imaginative and soul devouring piece of science fantasy.

Love Arthur C Clarke, not the co-written stuff but his own work, i.e. Rendezvous with Rama is excellent, they were going to make a film but the cunts cancelled it.

Iain Banks esp wasp factory.

would say more but going into Ambush.

some books I like and recommend are Night song of the last tram by Robert Douglas and the David Fiddimore War trilogy; Tuesdays War, Charlies War and the Forgotten war. Great series for fiction. Night song is non fiction and a great read!

almost finished it for the second time, angelsmoke is reading it too, really good book with lots of cool stories
are you taking turns with the same book? or reading it to each other? or do you have two copies? please explain the logistics of this important issue.

Taking turns with the same book and folding our own pages. I take it to work everyday and read it on my break and on the bus, angel normally reads when she is smoking and sometimes in the evening.

got all the Bachman/King books, fucking love them, not sure which one I prefer but the Long Walk is excellent in my opinion, love Rage as well and Roadwork

last book I finished was Brighton Rock by Graham Greene, very good book :)
