Ok then as a follow on from my other thread about favourite bands you HAVE seen, who would you want to see they can be dead or alive and from any era!

ill start,

hendrix,
mark knopfler with dire straits
black keys
pendulum

+1 on hendrix

the sex pistols

porcupine tree

hawkwind

pink floyd

rammstein

hehe :) not seen a band in ages...

ah dam! yeh defo need to add pink floyd to my list!! apparently the 'australian pink floyd' are incredible too!

Not so much who, as who & when:

Neil Young & Crazy Horse - Live Rust era
Bob Dylan - when he went electric and people were calling him Judas
Van Morrisson - If he ever did Astral Weeks without fucking Jazzing it up
The Doors - when Jim was (relatively) sober
REM - first few albums
Fleetwood Mac - Rumours era
Velvet Underground - anytime except the reunion / when they got rid of Lou
Arcade Fire - anytime - already seen them twice, but I'd go every day if they were on

Would give my little fingers if I could go back in time to the up in smoke tour.

Velvet Underground
Bowie (1971-1980)....saw him in '87 mind
The Clash
The Beatles
Bob Marley and the Wailers
Incredible String Band
Sandy Denny
The Ramones

Lots of good choices here. Crazy Horse in the Rust era would've been amazing.

Danzig-era Misfits obviously, but I still think that seeing Samhain would've been that bit more special.
