what bands WOULD you like to see? any era - dead or alive

Would have loved to have seen KISS in full make up(them not me) in the 70's.

I was unfortunate enough to get free tickets to see them last year - one of the worst gigs I've been to - not sure if they've just got old, but they were shit, and I was ready to give them a chance and get into the whole campness of the thing...

I think it probably is cos they are pretty old guys now.
I've seen live videos of them in their heyday and they really did put on a good show.
Drummer on a moving platform like an army tank, Gene Simmons guitar in flames while he played it. Plus the over the top costumes were great no one like them at the time.
I guess at their age now they probably have to move around the stage on zimmer frames.

The Clash
The Damned
Wu Tang Clan about ten years ago, in America so they could have all attended.
Bob Marley & The Wailers (a mate of mine was at the gig which was recorded for the 'Live In London' album, lucky (old) fucker).
V.U. (before I was born)
Bowie (before I was born)
Little Richard in the early days (long before I was born)
Jerry Lee Lewis in the early days
Elvis in his prime
many, many more.

Actually, since the other live music thread went up, Queen in their heyday.

How can I have forgotten about The Who. Would have been fantastic to see the energy they took to the stage when in their prime.

Could write a really long list but i won't atm but

Jimi Hendrix would be def. be at the top of the list.

My Mum saw him when he played the Bath Pavillion
