What are you munching on? v. the cheese n' fish cake crew

Dark Toblerones all the way! Whites out!

White chocolate hurts my throat, t'is too sickly.

Speaking of sickly. I've just consumed a sausage roll, a cheese and onion sandwich, and some sour cream and black pepper wholegrain crisp thingies. Stomach currently expanding. That's what happens when you don't eat breakfast and have to wait until you get home from work to eat. :\

White chocolate is the work of the D... well, actually the Devil's okay.

Snake-like binges are a bad way to eat though, TG. Unless you're a snake, and I know for a fact you ain't.

What's been sustaining you throughout the day, huh?

Ten black marks and 50mg off your diazepam allowance. ;)

To quote Sheryl Crow, "I've been livin' on coffee and nicotine".

Well, coffee, diet Coke, and cigs to be exact.

I can't hack White chocolate either. Far too sweet.

Made a shepards pie for dinner. Not even hungry so I gave it a miss. I made way too much as well so there's loads of left overs. Oh well. I guess I'll be eating that for lunch for the next three days.

Currently munching the last of me chilli from t'other day. It seems to get hotter the longer it's sat in the fridge for. Tastier too. But only a smidge left. Made a sosser balti last night for dins later (this would be more a late lunch I'm luncheoning 'pon at the moment). Loyd again. Although I must admit it's probably the tastiest Balti jar sauce I've come across. Tis pretty scrummy from the lil tasters I've had. Plenty enough for at least two days too. It may only be jar cooking but it's better than all the microreadymeals I was mostly eating before and cheaper to boot. Win :)

A very nice cake it is too. I enjoy citrus cakes. My favourite is Hawaiian Wedding cake that I make. Full of Pineapple and coconut. I usually but a bit of Lemon and rum in it too.

Enjoy your cake and your day <3

Also a fan of citrussy baked goods. My favourite that I used to make was a Jamaican Rum Cake. Was a rich, dark, ginger cake soaked in a rum and lemon syrup but the best bit was the filling. Baked in the centre of the cake is a thick layer of a coconut concoction made with dessicated coconut, sugar and egg white which tastes exactly like a Bounty Bar. Was a lushy cake and no mistake, missus <3

Lemon Drizzle Cake is another big fave of mine. Has to be good and sharp though. Yum. I'm now craving cake :!

Just demolishing a tube of pringles. Once you pop you can't stop always been a problem of mine

I've always found that once I pop I almost always have to stop. Much to Mrs Shambles chagrin :(

PS: White chocolate is nasty stuff. Ick. Toblerone's are great though. I have a tale of a rather naughty Toblerone but will spare y'all it cos I've likely told it many a time before. Was hilarious though =D

I blame the constant use of stims throughout that week :D

Was a damn tasty cake when sampling it was feasible though. I highly recommend Sadie's mad cooking skillz to all. Best to stick to the Guice and booze for the munching stage of a visit though and save the stims for after. Hawaiian Wedding Cake is far too good to be left alone in the fridge. Not to mention all those scrummy TexMex thingies. Yum <3

That was definitely a goody but then I'd struggle to pick a munch-based treat that wasn't a goody really. Even the relatively standard meat 'n' two veg dins (fnarr) were goodies. The Mexican-style stuff is generally a highlight though cos it's not something I have very often at all. And certainly not with all the trimmings like you do it. Those Old El Paso kits were on offer here recently and I was quite tempted. A pale imitation to be sure but a start. Missed the offer though. May have to start investing in tortillas though cos I never really knew what to do with 'em but certainly got some ideas. Now I'm dabbling in almost-cooking stuff I may even get a bit more adventurous than putting a jar of sauce on stuff sometime soon. Ooh! The Excitement! =D

PS: Jambalaya you sent me home with was also a bit of a treat. Very tasty. Although also probably very pricey for day-to-day nomming. A treat for sure :)

Erm...

A Ham, Cheese and Salami Roll. Already eaten, but doing some university work tonight, can never have enough food!

Yeah, Jambalaya is a treat for us too. What with all the sea food involved and the special sausage.

I'll send you a recipe for making your own tortillas if you like. I used to make my own all the time. It's just as cheap as making chipatties except you have to buy lard. The rest will most likely be in your cupboard.

Recipe would be great, m'dear :)

There's nowt of use for that kinda thing in me cupboard but pretty sure even I can scrape together funding for a bag of flour and stuff. Lard is a bit of a surprise ingredient though. Used to have much fun and japery as a nipper "going larding". Which essentially involves going to the top of a multistorey carpark or similar vantage point and lobbing lumps of lard at folk off the top. The multistorey where I lived overlooked the market which was rather handy. Oh for the innocent young scampery of yoof :D

Masssive mixed kebab from me local kebabbery, kofte, chicken shish, lamb shish, and doner.

Rank, nasty, but so so good.

Steak pie, green beans and delicious mash for tea followed by a couple of warm crumbly apple cookies.

Just munched a Chicken, Bacon and Mozzarella club sandwich. One of those Rustler's jobbies that's less like a jobby than most of their stuff. Was hungry but also feeling a bit dicky of tum so didn't fancy the curry. Oddly enough that sarnie seems to have both settled it and given me the slight munchies :?
