Whoa. NEED!

Making some pasta'n'sauce, tomato, chilli and mushroom. Nothing special but the first time I've actually cooked in a while.. weee I forgot I enjoyed it :D

I use my parents' toasted sandwich maker quite a bit but I use a frying pan here, hehe, works pretty well.. you don't get the same squished shiny effect though.

not really a choccy cheesecake fan so I can still think it's grim, but that's all it is essentially. though in general I'm a cheesecake fan.

They are just not the same, they don't make a good toastie at all. A toastie should be sealed at the edges with molten hot melted cheese inside ready to ooze out and burn you.

I'm starving and I think a Maccy Dees breakfast may be in order, just got off a 12hr bus journey, waiting around a few hours until I can check into a hotel and McDonalds could be the perfect place to get fed and kill some time. Sausage and egg mcmuffin meal, yuuuum.

^ Thats what a lot of people say in reviews so I think I'm gonna get a breville.

I have fond memories of cheese & ham, cheese & onion & cheese and ketchup toasties and want to recreate.
 
Aye me too, I remember toasties as a kid being great things. Now toasties aren't sealed they are not so good.
 
In the middle of cooking a 4 lb pork leg joint, boned and rolled.....doing cauliflower, crispy roasties, parsnips, cauliflower, carrots, and a caramelised leek and Westons cider gravy/jus....Just sitting down with a glass of Spitfire now the tatties have gone in...
 
spent the whole day in the garden.

no proggy with image resizing capabilities to hand, hence this will prob be too huge.

was yum tho. rye, boiled eggs n spring onion.

That's the pic I was looking for. It doesn't taste of cheese at all. My other half doesn't like philly cheese or chocolate desserts but he said this was surprisingly nice.
 
Had some duck and rice so far today and nothing more, I'll have to eat soon.
