Some days I find you can't fill yourself! Glad to hear your appetite is coming back.

Sadie it was the bestest eva pud - so light and fragrant with an amazing puddle of butterscotch toffee and separate wee pot of vanilla custard. Soooo goood %)

Thinking of sneaking a bit of applewood smoked chedder from the fridge now.

see I love cheese but I dont like the applewood stuff. It just doesnt taste like cheese to me. Everyone I know loves the stuff though so I know it must just be me.

You're evil with your toffee food porn. That sounded really lush.
 
Yeh usually the applewood stuff is kinda processed / synthetic, but this stuff is Somerset chedder treated which gives it an intense depth.

The man brought it to me and with a sip of red it went down rather well =D

I really need to stop eating Sadie :! Help!
 
Just got in an required food. Wanted tuna mayo onigiri but could not be arsed to make rice. Solution: add some nori to tuna mayo mis and have it in a sandwich, winner.
 
Kate, get felix to hide all the food other than basic stuff (or get yourself a whopping great stimulant habit!) and DON'T GET STONED AS MUCH (I can empty the 'fridge when really stoned).

Failing that, get a fairground mirror that makes you look a tad porky! =D
 
Gonna cook some chili con carne shortly, prob should have started earlier and slow cooked but had to go out. Right now I'm about to eat beans on toast.

A wee Thai lady, that my father has met, is coming to our house tonight to make Thai green curry for us. Should be good!

I bet I don't like the way she does it, because I'm a fussy shite (not one that is particular about the toilet he plunges into).
 
Been cooking an oxtail stew, just popped in the oven, leave it 5 hours or so, lovely dinner for later :)

Sounds amazing %) the only time I've had oxtail was in Spain and it surprisingly didn't taste like tinned oxtail soup! It was melt in the mouth.

I'm preparing an experimental dish - kinda hot text mex spices, chicken, peppers, potatoes etc - oven roasting some bits, griddle panning others :D

The basic ingredients may not be but the spice mix and methods of cooking and combining them are :p

Beans then chilli with more beans I take it - Mr Farty Arse :D
 
Had ye olde aubergine and courgette stir fry with hoisin and stuff. I say ye olde because of the amount of times I have consumed it in the last 7 days. Yay poverty.

(it's actually very tasty)
 
I made Tuna Pasta for dinner tonight. I love tuna pasta with sweetcorn. Nom nom nom nom. Also consumed tonight 1 large clementine and two fingers of a Kit Kat. Tay-stee.

Kate: I wanna try your tex-mex dish. Whats all in it? Spices wise etc.

Wibble: Mmmm I love Aubergine and courgettes. Never had them in a stir fry before but I think I want to now. Sounds lovely.
 
See that wouldnt work with me F&B as I love black pudding. Mind you, I dont like the english black pudding as much as the Scottish ones.
 
She was a veggie, a Jewish one a that, so getting something with pig's blood in is about as bad as it gets

On the eating front, I'ver just stuffed myself with sri lankan chicken. At the takeaway they informed me that I'd been overcharged last time & I was due a quid back. As I wasn't expecting it, I put it in the Pakistan flood relief jar. Lo and behold, when I got home I found they'd added 3 poppadoms totally free of charge.

Karma works when you don't expect things of it!
 
I used to hate aubergines. Once you put them in a sauce they don't realy taste of aubergine, they just soak up flavours and have an awesome texture.
