Chopped chorizo from mate's pigs, red peppers, garlic, onion, bit carrot, chick peas...

be ready in a while, house smelling lovely.

Creamy Garlic Salmon Pasta.

Ingredients for 2.

2 large segments of garlic.
Pkt Smoked Salmon.
Carton of cream. ( single or double)
Olive oil.
Black pepper.

If you're cooking fresh pasta ( I recommend Tagliatelle) boil your water then just dunk the Tag for 5 mins or so.
Whilst doing this fry the garlic in olive oil then add the salmon for a few mins followed by the cream. Once this concoction has mingled its lovely self together and got nice n flavoursome add your pasta and stir.

It only takes about 10 mins.

I find a joint goes down well for afters.

* oh I forgot season to taste. I usually put a bit of black pepper in before the pasta is added.

** My Salmon was half price in Co-op today and it was a quality Highland variety so kerching :) Tbh i've used trimmings before so if you're brassick you can still do an economical version of this meal.

I've got a tin of salmon, can I use that? I don't know why I bought it.

That would taste wrong to me because I'm so used to that version of Salmon pasta. You could give it a go. It would be your own invention.

I personally would only use tinned salmon cold with a bit of cucumber in a sarnie.

Sounds delicious. I love chorizo especially the freshly cooked sausages instead of the dried and cured stuff. Lucky you getting it freshly butchered from your mate.

Had a baked spud and beans earlier and it's about all I've had all day, getting hungry.

Tea makes me sneeze, especially in the morning. In fact it makes me want to vomit and sneeze in the morning. I can drink it after about 6pm. Before then, coffee or caffeinated soft drink.

Just had a couple of crackers and cheese with salad and cous cous, having chicken fajitas soon.

^ I think that is my favourite dinner of all time. With mustard and parsley sauce. My mum boils it to get the salt out then roasts it with cloves stuck in it and a brown sugar/mustard/honey crust. I should find out how she does it incase she drops dead. (jks ma jks)

And the gammon tastes even better the next day.

Oof, gammon is the best. Ex's mum used to do the best gammon-based dinners and, on top of that, gammon is an hilarious word.

In other news, I've got a kangaroo steak on the go and doing some pasta with tomato and mascarpone sauce to go with. Sounds good, takes very little effort, starting to like this cooking lark.

Oh yeah gammon .. phwor <3

That spag bol sounds interesting with courgettes Tangerine Dream. Might give that a go .. I've got hundreds in the garden.

I've just had a pack of winegums for tea.. I'm having a dont feel like eating day today.

I made your salmon in cream pasta YPDH, but instead of salmon I used mushrooms.

I know, it's not yours any more. But I think you should put a warning on the recipe, to make sure the garlic is cooked at a low-medium heat, as I can still taste the burnt garlic!

PS I am now recovering from burger and chips, which went down very well. Considering a smallish plugged dose of MXE for pudding.

Kangaroo eh. Not bad. Fajitas are off, folk have gone out for tea instead and I don't fancy cooking them for myself. Might do some pesto pasta or a cheese toastie with chips. Gone mad for cheese toasties last week or so. Some cheddar, red onion, jalapeños, bit of pesto.

Lovely recipe Yellow, love smoked salmon <3

Veg + chickpea curry with brown rice + green beans + peas. 7 a day in there!

I've just made dough for pizza tomorrow, was great battering the fuck out of it :D

I had a pizza delivered as it was too late to cook, I still order from the shop I used to work in when I was at college :)

Nice bit of Denby if I am not mistaken Kate

We have the same set, got it for a wedding present and most of it is still on one piece...such a small world of crockery:D
