Oh Ms Preserve, I shudder...

I had mashed potatoes, just love mash right now it is the ultimate cuddle squashed into a pulp veg - had it with a salmon steak baked with lemon n' herb butter and some peas. Yummy-bummy :D
 
just had a toasted ham-cheese-red onion-sweet corn- mayo n relish sambo.the ham is from yesterdays dinner and had a nice mustard honey and brown sugar glaze.

wish i had another one now.
 
Had a loaf of this brilliant tiger bread in the cupborad, huge chunk of that with cheese, ham and salad for breakfast and a mini pork pie just now. Think it'll be a takeaway later but not sure what to go for, chinese, indian, chippie, kebab. Choices, choices.
 
I love tiger bread. What makes tiger bread tiger bread? Is the dough different, or just the glaze? And what is the glaze?

Tiger bread or Dutch crunch is made with sesame oil and with a pattern baked into the top made by painting rice paste onto the surface prior to baking.[1] The paste dries and cracks during the baking process, creating a two-colour effect similar to a tiger's markings, hence the name. The rice paste crust also gives the bread a distinctive flavour. It has a crusty exterior, but is soft inside. Typically, tiger bread is made as a white bread bloomer loaf or bread roll, but the technique can be applied to any shape of bread.
 
got take away and it was shite,had a kebab tray with chips and bombay aloo.it was from an indian .

my local italian chipper does a better kebab.bit pissed off about it plus im still hungry.
 
Just had a shit kebab too, doner, shish and kofte mixed, always regret it, always vile, greasy, chilli sauce overpowers everything, nagging doubt I'm poisoning meself, but still fucking do it now and then.... taking the taste away with a litre of banana milkshake, and a kilo of clementines
 
I didn't go for a takeaway in the end, didn't want to spend the cash on it. Instead bought a jerk chicken ready meal from Co-op. Wasn't that good. It tasted spicy but lacked in flavour if that made sense.
 
just had some lamb koftas-falafel-cous cous and salad for sunday dinner.first time to cook any of them and was quite easy.

earlier on i made some mince beef-onion and cheese pies.used a deep muffin tray and they look preety good if i do say so myself.

will try them later while watching the footy.
 
Mmm, falafel! Not made them in ages :)

Burnt pizza for me. Dammit.
 
Got a pot of chilli slow cooking, think I'll keep it for lunch for next few days and have pizza tonight.
 
Chilli definitely improves if left for a few days.. *jealous* :)
