Steak pie, mash 'n' gravy. Bit too much of due to having bought two pies cos they were so cheap. Half a family size Pukka was perhaps a tad ambitious cos I'm bloated as a month-old whale corpse.

Not the tinned ones, Bear (although am quite partial to those too). One of these...

The ones you used to only be able to get in chippies. Make a decent pie do Pukka. No idea if it was horse but if it was it was tasty 'n' tender horse
Teriyaki sounds great. Not so big on wings though. Never seen the point of 'em. All bone and no meat. Although did see a handy instructional vid on PooToob demonstrating how to remove the bone in one leaving just meat which was rather snazzy.
I had pasta with broccoli and anchovy sauce. The sauce is made by heating anchovies and garlic until they basically melt and then putting it on the broccoli. Recipe my mom taught me ages ago
Ah! Party food is another matter, Bear. Thought you meant for dinner which seemed a bit of a faff. Definitely more of a nibble than a meal. Sounds tasty.
A massive Tortilla the size of a very wide cake and nearly as thick, marinated turkey breasts (chilli and lemon) griddled, cous cous with a load of little beans and berries in, humous (bought from the Co-Op) , fucking lovely it was too. Oh and a fuckload of chopped flatleaf parsley over the whole thing...
Takeaway kebab tomorrow night, Friday tradition.
I had a fishfinger sandwich with rocket and tartare sauce, was good.
Fish fingers and branston pickle sarnies![]()
Jan. Out of interest, what's your position on battered fish fingers?
Hmm, I hadn't really considered them. If I'm going to the chippie it'll always be cod and chips, if I'm doing fishfingers at home they'll be naked bar their breadcrumbs. What's yours, and what are the pros and cons? And quick, before MM rouses himself from ketatonia and slates my choice of supper.
