WYWH is my fave Floyd album. apparently, numero uno is supposed to be Piper, but I'm no purist and have no shame. my music-penis still throbs and remains fully engorged. so thar

Music snobbery is almost inevitbale in some way IMO, all music has some merit, its such a personal thing and there's so much of it out there.

Not that long ago I was trying to explain that to my 8 year old daughter that just because some at school, said soem band or another (can't even remember who) was rubbish didnt really mean they wrere rubbish and that people had different tastes in musicjuts like art or even food. She wasnt getting it so I said I play her one of my favorite tracks :-

Public Image Ltd.- Poptones

Obviously she hated it and could even understand how anyone would want to listen to it...I guess a bit like the reaction some people have the fist time they drink red wine or beer.

These days I don't get as much time to listen to music as I'd like but I still try to listen to different stuff from time to time, this thread is often a source of new stuff for me to seek out and explore
 
ATM I may smell a bit patchoilyish, could appear rather hippyish and no doubt annoying at times .. but middle class!!

Ms Yellow no offence intended to the hippy community but I think we all know the sort I'm talking about, not the real deal those posturing at being summit there not and going endlessly about "The Floyd"........and its always lower case on the atm unless I'm really getting a dressing down;)

lavender is my latest sexy smell, fucking love it, used to use vanilla oil, but now lavender oil is my scent of choice.
 
I get my lavender from H & B when it's on BOGOF

oooo, I just remembered that 2 years ago, one day in summer the postman refused to deliver my mail & gave it to my neighbour because the lavender flanking either side of my gate had too many bees around it! I shit thee nawt, MM!

tbh, i don't like the Tygers really now, i did go through a stage, was when Thin Lizzy were my favourite bands, and the Tygers seemed like a low-rent Lizzy to me, obviously, Thin Lizzy were GRAt, the Tygers were low-rent Midlands pub-rock, better than Pink Floyd though :)

Euthenasia, hahahha, they boys have put on a it of weight now, but still got the riffs...his voice ain't bad either....., lol

i hope you withheld his Christams tip!

i get 100ml of lavender essential oil online for about 7 quid, and kilo of dried lavender flowers for me vapouriser costs about a tenner, PM me if you want the link, i dunno what Hand B prices are like, i don't like real shops really

Lavender is really relaxing. I love picking it fresh and putting a few drops of oil in the bath if Im stressed. But there is that old lady association isnt there?
I think my signature scent is white musk oil which is probably a bit 90s but I love it.

Lately Ive had a lot of muscle pain and my signature scent is more eau de Deep Heat.

My other nod to hippyness is Nag Champa joss sticks <3
