He roadied for loadsa 60s/70s bands and remembered enough to tell the same (frankly disappointing) stories over and over (and over) again 8)

No interesting ones 'bout the Wall tour though unfortunately. Was indeed a bitch to set up though apparently. But from what I gather some drugs were involved...

Was quite impressed at the (admittedly stretched to breaking point) vicarious connection to such folks though :D

His best mate at uni was... who also liked a wee doobydoo before setting his hair on fire and screaming 'n' flinging himself around ferrabit too apparently.

It's in my top three events I would of liked to of been there.

1 Woodstock
2 That free Rolling Stone gig in California
3 A Pink Floyd gig
 
Woodstock woulda been pretty sweet (just so long as you avoided the brown acid 8o).

Not that fussed 'bout the Stones, tbh. Would definitely prefer to see them then than now though :|

Same goes for Floyd. Love their early(ish) live shows but The Wall tour was definitely the last dying breath... Fuck, not even collaborating with The Orb managed to make Dave Gilmour's stuff sound decent of late :\

Im only a yougen but... last xmas in sankeys he was there DJing.. he was dire.. but gave him a dutch pill and he was loving it, birds where all around him he was getting the treatment in sankeys... always give him free clothes in the shop aswell I dont know why.. top guy though his head ins spangoooled.

Yea, you told me mate, he's a top lad. Bit of a nutter if you get on the wrong side of him but he's from salford so that's the score there anyway.
