Haha eh shammy show me some of ur fave songs plz youtube :-) ty <3bahh fuck it shamny im not with it pop anothrr 2mg and heads off to gibberings haha

However, my personal fave gee-tar making sounds no gee-tar ever couldashouldawoulda ever did make is...

Smashing Pumpkins - Starla

<3

Funny you posted that, when I first started toking I'd listen to "today" from that album over and over again. T'is been years.

Plus I'd argue the feedback/wah thing that kicks in is mucho inspired by Hendrix.

Hehe. I toked my way through that album many a time. Learnt to play it all too. Not like the man himself, obviously. But recognisable. Was kinda chuffed with meself for that cos was frankly shite at gee-tar but once I get obsessive... ><

Incidentally, you'd be thinking of Siamese Dream if talking of Today. Starla was a B-Side. To I Am One, I think. Is on Pisces Iscariot amongst other places.

Definitely some Hendrix influence in terms of making a gee-tar sound truly otherworldly with a fuckload o' effects pedals, feedback and general malarkey... and managing to keep it all under control too. Billy Corgan is like a god to me <3

If ya like effects 'n' feedback heavy gee-tar godliness... Have posted this one to death but with good reason. Anyone who has ever even looked sideways at a gee-tar and liked the way it looks must surely sweat cum at this...

Yo La Tengo - And the Glitter is Gone

More VU/Lou Reed than Hendrix in terms of influence. Genuinely breathtaking bit o' gee-tar biziniz though <3

ahh :( get back into it, i'll sell you a guitar cheap. check that link out, awesome

Speaking of skag and guitars I really liked this a while back. Brings back some very hazy drunken images and the visions that ensued the following morning

The Idiot

You really should take the guitar up again Shambles.

^ Noice =D

I'd love to have a lil strum now and then. Got no gee-tar though. But if I ever happen to have spare cash I'll give ya a shout, Dan :)

Fuck's sake that's impressive 8o

Righty. I should probably try get a lil snooze in about now. Dunno if it'll work. But probably best try...

Will leave ya with...

Velvet Underground, live,1969,CD-1,Quine Tapes, 11 songs,78 mins.,(1 of 3) - now that's a bootleg <3

And, in relation to our lil PM chat, 1394...

Messiaen: Quartet for the End of Time

Nighty for now, y'all <3

I would happily give Shambles a guitar, provided it wasn't sold for skag.

But you wouldn't do that these days would you, Shambles? :sus:

(Not that I have a guitar to give...But maybe one day)

Btw am I right in thinking you prefer Doherty's performances when he was at his worst in terms of 'visibly addicted'? All your picks are of skinny Pete!

I prefer the chubbier, healthier and older man he is today.

Peter Doherty - Don't Look Back Into The Sun (live, 2013)

Even if he does look like a fat Tony Montana.

And here's some stellar new material from Pete:

noone canhold A light toyourMisery

cheapshott take 5

^ Some of his best work to date IMVHO

Mmm... Stars of the Lid <3

You inna oldskool kinda mood then, Snoll-de-Roll? If so try this lil beaut cos I <3s it and not gotten any bites so far when I've posted it...

B12 - Metropolis <3

Somewhat ironically, I prefer the BoC remix of that tune :o

Shall give that a listen see if it shakes me out of this awful panic attack! And yeah I love the remix of that cLOUDDEAD tune as well, though like the original and the band in general too. And yeah haha old skool mood despite being not old enough to have attended that particular skool =D

edit: ooh the picture changed!

It amazes me how fucking FAST sonic the hedgehog plays still, a 1991 game, the speed of it astounded me even then, thought my son would find it a bit dated, but he loves it....great game.

Ahhhh new ringtone right there :D Albion's right, some definite tunes. Loved this one when I was younger but listening now doesn't flow quite so well. Still makes me wanna play with music though

That drowning music can fuck the fuck right off though. Jesus. I can just about bring myself to listen to it twenty-odd years later.

Pushing my ex to get little man onto Sonic but he's all about Skyrim. Sigh :( Stuff her I'm taking my Mega Drive up next time, she asked me to bring my laptop to show him WoW but sod that, it'll ruin him forever.

edit: Seeing as we're on videogames, here's a classic from back in't day:Toejam and Earl 2 Theme. One of the first things I taught myself to play on bass as well, completely by ear. Was dead chuffed with myself haha =D
