Don't care whether you picked up on that Lovage album cos I've postwhored the fuck out of it or through independent means - either way you are a woman of taste <3

Lovage is pretty obscure even by Mike Patton sideprojects... how'd'ya feel 'bout...

Peeping Tom - Your Neighborhood Spaceman

And in other news, been some oldskool <3 in this 'ere thread tonight... I know there's rarely much <3 for "IDM" (I really do wish there was a better name for it cos that one is horrid beyond belief... but such is it known as all the same 8)) but they named this track thusly for a reason...

Ambulance - Hymn

If rave were religion this would be it's hymn <3

(although it is kinda nostalgic rather than forward-looking... but then religions tend to be so fits perfectly :D)

EDIT: Owen, that's one of my all-time faves from any genre. Especially the first few tracks which are beyond orgasmic <3

Nah, independent Pattonesque means, I think, maybe. Not sure actually.. tis a superb album though.

Yep, good stuff. But then I do like Peeping Tom.

So are we all still calling him Owen, then? I was wondering this..

Portrait of an American Family, Smells Like Children and Antichrist Superstar were three of the most listened to albums of my youth for sure.%)

Mechanical Animals was pretty good as well, after that I wasn't a big fan. There's a few good tracks on Holywood after that not so much.

Either way is fine by me as stated. That album comes with such good memories for me it's a permafave of mine. Peeping Tom are better known but frankly not a patch on Lovage <3

And yes, I will be calling the CatHatMan 'Owen' for reasons of simplicity.

=D<3=D

65daysofstatic - Music Is Music As Devices Are Kisses Is Everything

Mono - Pure As Snow

Not as dissimilar as may initially seem. Also both blinding tunes in their own right <3

(albeit strangely similar)

EDIT: My name ain't spelt 'Shambles' but do you see me complaining? :p

EDIT2: Everything up to Holy Wood is pure genius... okay mostly everything up until that point. Gone to serious shite since that point though :\

^ + ^^ = Win <3

Universal Indicator - Thoughts of You

Automatic Tasty -- I Seen You Through A Crowd ( She's So Cool )

Power Pill/AFX - Pac Man

"Eat them up - yum yum!"

... which I just this moment discovered is taken from...

The Beat Box Boys - Einstein + Yum Yum (Eat Them Up)

... which reminds me muchly of those early 80s "Electro" (that was the name of 'em not necessarily the genre which was a mix of early techno-stylee meets hip-hop) mix tapes that I was so very fond of but never can track down these days.
