I'm listening to some beautiful steel band music which isn't on youtube. It's by a band called the Maestros. It's very gentle compared to most steel band music, kind of like the lapping of a tropical ocean on a beach at night. I pulled it from the record pile more or less at random but it turns out it's just exactly what I needed to de-frazzle myself. It's putting me in a good place.

edit: Misleadingly categorised as 'reggae' or even 'ska' in a couple of places and it absolutely isn't, even slightly.

double edit: fucking hell, it appears that it was recorded in High Wycombe.
