What State were you from Sadie? I have always wanted to spent time in The Appalachian Mountains & also visit The Mississippi Delta for the history of The Blues I love.
Also one of my favourite "Sludge" Metal bands EHG Eye Hate God come from NOLA, that part of The USA looks amazing.
For some reason so many English & also folks from Europe seem to not grasp how HUGE The USA is, the one thing I have NEVER got about American folks is how they seem to lump the whole of Europe together as if it's one thing.
Take Finland or Norway as one example, they are 100% different to the UK, my cousins wife had this BIZARRE concept in her mind till she came to the UK, the first time she saw London for what it really is she was so shocked, she used to think all English people had a Tea break at 2pm, we all spoke like Harry Potter, we all drove Jaguar cars etc etc.......
The Truth is most of London isn't that far removed from some Township is South Africa, I love watching reaction videos on Youtube of people from The USA on their first trip to London & they see it's close to the video of Die Antwoord - Fat Faded Fuck Face..

Bollocks! There are very very few parts of London which are remotely like that. Plenty of youtubers would have us believe otherwise but it's nonsense.
