There are musicians that are undeniably talented, regardless of personal taste.

Then there are musicians that appeal to a niche market.

Then there are utter talentless wankers that have nothing to offer to the art and should be put out of our misery.


Unfortunately, many black 'musicians' seem to fall into the latter category these days, whereas there was once a time when they were the trailblazers of rock and blues.

I mourn the passing of real music...


(OK, Hawkwind are definitely a niche market, but they're fucking brilliant regardless :LOL:)

I like loads of jungle/hiphop/reggae/soul/ragga etc allsorts - I just can't roll with the crew spewing hate and intolerance is all, it just brings me down

Edit - also hawkwind have been terrible output-wise since the mid 80's and awful live since the mid 90's (imo obviously - I love all their albums until 'Black Sword' though and they were my favourite live band by far...until they weren't!)

I totally agree mate. I've not even listened to anything they've recorded this century. Don't want to lose the faith...
 
The last time I saw Hawkwind was at Jodrell bank in 2013. They were fuckin brilliant - as were the Aussie Floyd.

The beauty of Hawkwind is that they are a live band through and through - regardless of line up.

I watched many painful performances on TV from Glastonbury this year (but The Manic Street Preachers blew every cunt away).

Couldn't help thinking that Glastonbury would have been so much better if they had Hawkwind playing 24/7 :LOL:
 
RIP Shivya the Cat.

People who go around planning a fucking Assassination on Cats then acting on it by feeding the Cat poison mashed into the food have no Soul & if "Hell" is real in a Bible way they are going directly there.

You ever see this Nikita as I know you sneak around on here I love you and I wish Shivya the best in the Cat afterlife.
