I've neglected her a lot of late Prolly cuz I like the first three albums the best though. I think the rawness of the recordings suited her clumsy guitar style and her haunting voice a whole lot more. I could always relate to her awkwardness. She kinda has this thing inside her she needs to get out, yet it's almost too difficult for her to be on stage to do it. So poignant and real. <3

And just cuz I <3 this so much. :)

Often she'd cancel shows as she was too drunk, or anxious from not drinking, or drinking too much. There's a good interview on youtube about it where she talks very very frankly about her addiction. I'm sure i've posted it before. I will again if not.

She's clean now (ish, not as bad as she was), and is my inspiration.

I got a signed pre-release of his CD because I asked him when he was releasing his album, and he wrote back on my facebook wall with the date, I replied that'd be cool as it would be on my birthday, I then got inboxed for my address and a day after my birthday the CD arrived!

Kind motives for a homeless drunk :)
