Have you watched the movie Old School? There's a scene where Will Ferrel gets shot in the jugular with a veterinary tranquillizer gun and starts getting auditory distortions, stumbles around ends up falling in the swimming pool.

I feel you, there's a pub down the corner, I don't know why they are allowe to do that, but every friday and saturday night they play music until really late, I've been living here for 3 months and they play the same playlist every single weekend, horrible music.
 
Listening to Blockhead's 'Music By Cavelight' album, had it on my phone for yonks but not listened to it fully. Well into my more laidback hip hop at the moment, more glitchy instrumental. It's more in line with the season, old school and gangsta rap is more of a summer thing to my ears.

Been right into my Celtic and hardcore punk as well, especially a lot of the Boston-based bands. Really wanna take a trip over there to check out the music scene when I'm done with my current obligations.
