Dunkelheit - Burzum (Original video in H.Q.)

I'm a huge Burzum fan, love this song, it's brilliant, always listened to that while talking walks in the woods in winter or when on boar hunts in fall.

My favourite from the Belus album is Glemselens Elv:

I have to admit though, shamefully, that I'm also a bit partial to the more commercial bands like Immortal, Carpathian Forest, Marduk and Dimmu Borgir.

By the way farmaz those prices sound like Aus, it's 9 dollars for a pack of bacon, standard type not fancy, something that would cost like 1.99 in Tesco.

happy Halloween scardy cats!

The Me is creation out of chaos, the great attributes of civilization, and the powers of the gods. The me were conferred by the gods on other gods or on the king-priests, who as the representatives of the gods on Earth, ensured the continuation of civilization. The special powers, contained within the me allowed the holy plan or design to be implemented on Earth. The me were contained within special objects of great sacred value, such as the royal throne, the sacred bed, the temple drum, the scepter, the crown, and other special articles of clothing or jewelry to be worn, sat on, lied in, and so forth. Enki gave Eanna the the Me which empowered her becoming Goddess and Queen of Heaven and Earth, now able to descend into the Underworld and ascend once again.

The Invocation of The Goddess

What you think to Umskiptar?......for me I hated it on 1st play but it grew on me in a huge way
For me the best track is Heiðr, I have great memories of sitting by the Fjord's in Bergen with that playing, makes my blood run cold just thinking about it.

Heiðr - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qXRlMALNEj0

In terms of Belus it has to be for me Kaimadalthas' Nedstigning & Sverddans

I am also a HUGE fan of Faller (fallen) Jeg Faller is an amazing piece of work

To be honest I didn't give Umskiptar a good listening yet, it came out when it was spring back home and I have to admit that my musical taste is seasonal and related to nature and its changes, in a way the hot months are for uplifting, happy music, while the colder months are more for the introspective, deep stuff. I will listen to it again though.

Norway must be beautiful, Scandinavia is the one place where I've never ventured, I travelled and lived around quite a bit but never managed to go there. Definately on the "to see" map.

As for Varg Vikernes' beliefs, I share most of the anti-Christian rethoric, I grew up in a country that is overwhelmingly catholic(Italy) and I do believe that it's just mental poison, a disease that corrupts the rational brain. He's right when he says that organized religion drew man away from nature, as pagans, Europeans were in touch with nature, Christianity alienated us from the natural world and compromised our true spirituality.

I have been many places but imo I prefer what most people may call remote places. As nice as the south of france may be in the summer I would prefer to look out on remote hills covered in snow & ice. Norway gives you a feeling on being in Middle earth from lord of the rings imo. I just totally fell in love with the place & Norway at night is even better, truly my favourite place I have ever been to (apart from the prices though)

Totally agree, too many people wont bother to read his work due to what he did but imo alot of what he has to say is right.

On phone so can't post link but am loving listening to Metallica "Kill 'em All" album
I remember when I first heard this as a school kid and thinking whoa what the fuck is this its amazing.
There was nothing like it at the time as we were all into Iron Maiden, Motley Crue etc
