a danielle dax video is how i found my fave band The Cardiacs. strewth. some sort of indie compilation on vhs, which also included The Wedding Present.

after some searching:
from the same vhs compilation video: this one, quite possibly .. wow, from 1989. I feel OLD

the album is really good too ;) .. his old stuff is actually really good, before this 'synthy' nonsense. still love Constrictor tho

seen him live twice :o. Took the 13 year old lad I used to babysit for to his first concert to see Alice, it was ace. He turned into a 'grebo' after that and became a Metal DJ after leaving school. don't think his mum ever forgave me tbh. whoopse!

think zodiac toured with alice? can't remember. they did a cover of Feed my Frankenstein tho if I remember right

YellowPolkaDotHalo - a big thank you for the Danielle Dax link - it resulted in finding videos for a lot of tracks from the jesus egg that wept (and lots of pics of said wonderfulully deranged delight :) )

Oh and after watching the Link to Welcome To My Nightmare, I found the video of him doing it with the muppets

That in turn lead to this gem, Lemmy and the Muppets (The band had a brilliant name as well - Dr Teeth's Electric Mayhem) doing a version of Overkill -seen Motorhead about 8 or 9 times and this is one of the best performances I've seen of it =D.
