Positive What are you grateful for ?

The big things: My pops is ok, and we have things to look forward in spite of some setbacks. My health, my family is ok, this roof over my head, these 4 walls keeping out the icy rain and wind.
The little things: this warm, clean, soft bed, for example.

I am glad that I was never sure in my life that I had reached my goal. I always thought that things were the way they were.

The best thing about this now that I am retired is that I still do not think I have reached my goal, I do not even think about it.

The only thing that I worry about now is if my roommate will snore or not, or one of the housemates will steal something from me.

i think compared to the other troubles you mentioned, and unless you keep too much stuff at that place, you should be fine for now. and the best thing is: you know your life is on an upward trend!

a lot of people begin to decline both physically and mentally when the retire with the idea that there's nothing left for them to aim for anymore.
so it's a good thing that you still have something to get you up and going.

Huge fire near us ,but grateful there's no homes and people to burn,feeling bummed that Castaic lakes diverse and unique wildlife are being destroyed,grateful I can't get my sights on arsonists.

Being in a warm house with a full belly and able to read&write makes me much more fortunate than the vast majority of humans who have ever lived.

For that I am immensely grateful.

i'm grateful that all i can come up with to say i'm grateful for seems petty compared to most of what others wrote here.
does this make me fortunate?
or does it make me ungrateful?

anyway, i'm grateful for lots of tiny little things every day even on shitty days.
so i guess it's just an awareness thing.
and that makes this thread something to be grateful for.

This morning I had an appointment at the dentist. Fate would have it that I was the first person there to meet my dentist on the stairs. And I wished him a good morning.


I think he appreciated it. That's how I wanted it, too.


And that's why I'm perfectly happy today.

I am grateful for my prescription medications. Hopefully i get my refills today. It really sucks having to rely upon the 'out patient' program to fill your medications.
I have to wait until the pharmacy they use fill the medicine, and sometimes that shit takes days.

Do you get the geek bar vapes? They are my favorite too. I'm vaping on lemon nerds, which it's okay. Kind of has a lemon cleaning solution flavor. Lol
