What Are You Drinking? V2. Frosty Jacks - For The Discerning Pisshead

Forgot to add Bacardi Carta Blanca none of it
was particularly good, except the Hot Toddy.

Haven't seen Teachers in ages.

Maybe I'm going to the wrong shops. I used to like it; as blends go it's a good one. But as any Scotch drinker knows, a fair number of blends are far superior to a lot of single malts. But marketing tells us otherwise.

There was a reason blending began, and it was because a lot of raw whiskies tasted like shit. Which many still do.

Any absinthe heads here?
I like absinthe. Ive had the 90+% shit brought back from Spain before. When you drink it, and inevitably let out a choking gasp, you can feel it evaporate from your mouth duento the alcohol content.
I think it was Hemingway who invented a cocktail called death in the afternoon, which is champagne and absinthe shaken, or you can slowly pour the absinthe over the wine, and it sits happily on top (in a champagne flute) due to the oils in the green fairy.

Drinking red stripe as it was cheap and cheerful in the shop. Whh the fuck does beer keep going down in ABV?? It's tax reasons ofc, but it's sad to see once formidably strong lagers being watered down so the brewers can make more profits, the cheeky cunts!

Worse still, it mostly just affects this country.

At one time, Grolsch was 5%. Then it was dropped to 4% for the British market after a short disappearance from our shelves.

Now it's 3.4%, which is weaker than the 'Grolsch Lite' they sell in America!
