Tyskie is one of my go to beers, I love it. Karpackie isn't without it's charms, but I find it has to be chilled almost to the point of frozen. Źubr is a decent alternative between the two. It also packs a red haired stephild batterin' 6.2% vol

First encounter outside Scotland. I was expecting more, but I honestly think I prefer Bru Xtra.

Sacrilege!!! 1901 was a bit of a disappointment (I think it could definitely use some caffeine), but it’s loads better than that artificially sweetened piss water!

Nah, Xtra is the best. Sugar Free is the nadir.
I say that as somebody who avoided sweeteners for years.

Bottle of organic merlot wine from the health food shop, was in there buying soap and I succumbed to temptation. Was only 7 euro though and it's actually pretty good as far as I can tell.

Have only ever had normal irnbru but I can't imagine buying anything with the word "Xtra" printed onto it. Fuck that but all power to you man. Do any of the variations beat the standard can?

The Xtra branding is admittedly shite. Think it's due to sugar tax and appealing to men who don't want to be drinking 'sugar free'.

Never even heard of Iron Bru 32. + the only reason I ever drink irn bru at all is because of a superstitious hangover routine which includes irn bru + lucozade. What is it? (irn bru 32)

After finishing the bottle there were bits of cork at the bottom. It was a twist off top. No clue how that happens. Just got 35cl of Captain Morgan spiced gold and cola , had a a couple of cap fulls and mellowing until 7am when I am off to collect groceries (with a bottle of dark rum included)

Usual rum of the mill drinking and food and grocery list but does me, bit of a rut compared to other chaps but I can chill with my choices, and made sure I have fish paste on list and gorgeous P.B. &Jelly for sandwiches aswell again basic but always hits a note admitted that would swap for oysters and lobster but hay ho
