No, I haven't, but I'm intrigued - I must try it now ;)

(Vodka and coffee, I like your style!)

I'm drinking a cold red Pinot noir right now. It tastes pretty lush chilled :)

Buy it and Ill come over and drink it with you! Vodka btw

Banks's for Tesco Revisionist Saison beer.

It's not very often I get the chance to drink a saison unless I go out of my way, but it's a really underrated style of beer.

Knockshake. Chocberry flavour.

Drank booze earlier. Specifically the last of the gin from last night and a couple bottles of Weston's. Frankly it made me feel like crap. Am all acidy and generally a bit bleurgh. Worst thing is I knew I'd feel like that but still bought the Weston's when I know damn well I should've either stopped after the gin or not bothered at all. Booze just does not agree with me. At least not often and not in large volumes. I seriously need to not only get that through my head (cos I absolutely do know it) but put it into action. Is a frikkin ridiculous state of affairs. Why do something - especially a rather expensive something - that I actively dislike? Partially it's cos I can't really take proper drugs so often through the week (well, I could but I'm trying to avoid it... which begs the question why can't I do the same with booze? at least nowhere near as easily). Is an odd and somewhat shitty thing.

Ah well, soothing Knockshake and a couple Omeprazole before bed should hopefully settle tum at least. But I know I'm gonna have a horrible night's "sleep" and feel shitey tomorrow. And all for what? Pfft. Bring on the proper drugs. Or possibly even a lil midweek abstainance. Yes, really.

I had a quarter bottle of vodka last week for the first time in 17 years and it went down like water couldn't drink the stuff before last week because I went to far one night all most cutting my arm off with a Stanley knife no shit il try and show you a picture of the scar while shit faced on it

Yeah, there's quite a lot of that in several threads. Prolific was the boy Knock. But prolific and worth reading which is a fairly rare combination. What I found a bit spooky was all the threads he'd subscribed to and stuff still being active in his profile. I actually thought somebody must be still using the account and asked about it in the modthread but it's just automatic. Haven't quite decided whether I find it a bit creepy or actually quite nice. Probably leaning more towards the latter the more I think about it though.

Currently drinking 'Very Berry' Volvic. No, I'm not that much of a ponce but it was reduced heavily and is really rather tasty. Also really rather tasty was the gingerbread flavour latte I had earlier. Only instant (Nescafe, I think) but a good flavour for coffee, methinks. Also got an Irish Cream flavour one that's good too. And some other flavour I forget. Not the kinda thing I usually but but are all half price at the moment so been quite enjoying 'em :)

sorry for dwelling like this but fuck its weird just saw this post and was like cool its knock then bang fuck sorry :(

Happened to me just earlier this evening actually, but with the last post on a sticky thread. Did a proper cartoon double-take and all. I guess he'd have appreciated the silliness of that. :)

On the Revisionist Saison again. Because it appears to be the saison, and there's an imminent change of saison. Plus I like what it saison the label.

Would've thrown in another 'saison' pun but I ain't so cruel.

Beer connoisseurs and metalheads from all corners of the globe have been pounding back Iron Maiden‘s ‘Trooper’ Ale. The beer hasn’t even been available for a year yet, but in a new report, Iron Maiden’s signature ale has sold 3.5 million pints without its brewer, Robinsons Brewery, spending a single penny on advertising.
Heavy metal and beer have been attached at the hip since the very beginning. Something about the combination is simply magical, and these new stats add to the proof. According to various sources, the U.K. beer market has been struggling lately, with Just Drinks reporting a 4.8 percent overall drop of beer sales in Q2 of 2013. However, Morning Advertiser reports that British pubs that offer ‘Trooper’ Ale have experienced an eight percent sales growth thanks to the beer’s release.
‘Trooper’ Ale became available for the first time in May 2013, so a total of 3.5 million pints in sales since then is extremely impressive.
“I don’t drink mainstream standard lager,” Maiden singer Bruce Dickinson told beer writer Pete Brown in a 2013 interview. “If I was thirsty in a pub with no real ale, I’d rather have a lime and soda. But anyway, we haven’t positioned ‘Trooper’ as a beer from a metal band — it’s a brand of beer brewed by Robinsons that we’ve developed with them. They’ve had six generations of brewers there, they’ve got some highly respected beers, and what they don’t want is a bunch of rock stars coming up and duffing up their reputation, because they’re still going to be there in another two or three generations.”
Although ‘Trooper’ Ale can be difficult to find in the U.S., Artisanal Imports offers a comprehensive list of stockists who carry the drink.

It's true that metaller pubs do seem do have decent beer on tap usually. Not been out in ages and am not exactly what you'd caller a 'metalheadr' though so not come across the stuff. Also can't bleedin' stand Iron Maiden. Suspect the beer's pretty good though so might give it a go if I happen to spot it anywhere.

Drinking ornery coffee. Which is like ordinary coffee only stroppier.

(the above will mean bugger all to anybody unless they happen to have been at college with me in my first year of second course - and specifically in t'other room whilst i dozed on the sofa before a party one night. long shot i know, but i amuse myself. endlessly)

Don't suppose there are many Robinson's pubs in your neck of the woods, are there? They all seem to have it on right now. It's quite a nice beer. Nothing earth-shattering, but pretty good. The bottled version is in a lot of supermarkets too.

It helps if you have a soft spot for Maiden, of course.

Royal export, danish beer.. Well.. Got 4 for free today so have to drink em, 5,8%, says on it "strong beer" I laughed when I read that.

Tizer <3

Not had that in a dog's. Didn't realise it was still made. Childhood fave <3

EDIT: Made with fruit juice?!? Fukkin fruit juice pollutin' my beloved Tizer?!? Shurley shome mishtake, missus. That stuff is pure chemical. It's like accusing Irn Bru of being made not from actual girders or summat 8(

Currently drinking shop's own brand generic blended Scotch (not as bad as it sounds, but probably wouldn't drink it neat unless at gunpoint or summat, fine with a mixer though) wiv Crabbie's Alcoholic Ginger Beer. Not a bad lil combo actually :)

thought I would be trendy and drank 'long island ice tea' last night - which the more we drank the stronger they became. Never ever again....

Vodka n coke :\
