Never seen Hobgoblin in tins before, missus. Seems somehow wrong :sus:

I used to drink at the Hobgoblin pub sometimes. The original one. Loadsa Wychwood stuff on tap (obviously) a belting jukebox and homemade poteen sold under the bar. They probably don't do that latter any more.

Am drinking... water. Go me.

Why did they sell Poteen under the bar Shambles? Was it illegal? I just Googled it and it looks like a bottle of booze.

It was reputed to be illegal at the time but pretty sure it never actually was. Is on general sale now anyway. Was probably mostly a sales tactic... but don't remember it being in a branded bottle or owt so maybe it was home distilled which would make it illegal. Wasn't on display - had to ask for it. Was many years ago. Nice pub either way.

I'm with you, I've drink a few of then alcoholic ginga beers, they never as good ss a proper brwed jamaican non=alco one.....too sweet, not enough ginga...
 
Vile kava kava extract in an energy drink, as I cannot abide getting pissed for a while hence, after drinking 5 litres of wine this last weekend. Not heterosexical at all am I, I suppose I should be drinking some lolly-flavoured martini or somesuch vile concoction.

The goblin looks like my mate after a few grams, made a good birthday present anyway.
 
And I'm off.... old jock ale. Only got one bottle left though so a trip to Asda is necessitated. Was sloppy with my drug dosing though so I need to let that pan out a bit before taking to the streets...

Old Jock ale. Yum. I like ale. Is it a dark rich one or light fruity one? I like the dark rich ales not the fruity weirdo ones.

Ruddy good coffee? I brought another funny shaped jar of Douwe Egberts today as it was on offer. I love the stuff, was a different variety a bit stronger and richer. I am happy with the pure gold but I thought I would stretch my wings as it were.

Also drinking cheap pop. Crazy and insane anti-HR I know. Lol.
