London Pride, which was sourced by me yesterday at the booze speciality shop, as it's rarer than opium round here, imported, quite dear, but totally worth it. I've also found a warehouse were they sell Newcastle Brown Ale by the crate, pricey but lovely.

Henry Westons Special Vintage paid for by Henry Weston.

Got a short bottle the other day, quick email and whaddup, four free bottles to me sir. Well, six quid, which is the same thing.

about to crack open a 1lt btl of my home brew stout.

I have about 25 bottles of the last batch of homemade stout I made, undrinkable even when nothing else is available. Can't believe I fucked it up so bad.

I'd made a honey Pilsner and a Lager before and they were both good, the Pilsner I'd dare say was actually real good, while the lager was hearty, cloudy but still very much enjoyable.

Back to the aldi cider today. Bottle Number 6 since 10am (when they opened).
I'm either really sad, or totally living.
YEAH.
Though sadly nothing happens in glasgow on a sunday so I'm stuck in bed watching reeves and mortimer re-runs.
Not that that's a bad thing.

must have fucked up bad as the stouts are pretty easy to brew. i made mine with a kit, brown sugar, treacle, dark grain.

very hard to make a good lager, think the rule of kit brewing is the darker the beer the easier to make a good brew.

I'm drinking Westons Stowford Press Export, only 6%, but very good flavour, and not overly gassy, missis came back from Lidl with 12 bottles for me.

It's a seasonal thing, I think I brewed the stout in the wrong season, I was also fairly careless with hygiene aspects. The lager was the first one I brewed and was very anal when it comes to cleaness, also all the equipment was new and never used before. That one was great, good beer with some extra kick due to the honey. The Pilsner was good too, with the Stout I think something got rotten.

Nah. Poof.

He does have a talent for selecting beverages with a certain fragrance of lavender, doesn't he?

Made a half bottle of Jameson's last three days. Unbelievable. I'd only bought it to ward of sniffles too. I'm really happy with myself. Of course, all the people who pledged their utmost support if only I'd stop killing myself with drink came running to congratulate me and tell me how proud of me they are.

Yeah, like fuck they did.

Yeah, poor me. That's what it's all about ultimately, ain't it? Though genetics and environment stacked the deck.

Not sure if the sentiment's sincere, but if it is then thanks. It's been bloody hard work at times. If the sentiment's not sincere, then I hope you got a good old chuckle. Everybody's happy.
