What Are You Drinking? Four of your 'finest' purple tins, s'il vous plait

Sagres lager, best beer out here, nicer than Super Bock, also discovered it is much nicer in a glass as opposed to from the bottle
 
Ribena for the mo, got a cottage pie in the oven so will crack open my 20litre box of Lighthouse IPA from RedRock brewery, local brewery to me, they sell their beers in 10 and 20 litre boxes for home consumption, as well as the full size barrels (firkins?), but they don't keep well....the boxes(like wine boxes) keep great for up to 4 weeks....

Any of you like proper beer I bet there's a small family run brewery near you sells beer like this too...it's probably not as cheap as the supermarkets ridiculous beer offers in the summer, but I'd rather my money went to good people who care about what they produce

IPA is my favourite, light, hoppy, refreshing, full of flavours too while being light.

Actually, that might be a viable option as I'm just about to get stuck into a bottle of Chardonnay, and stick Jennifer's Body on. No work tomorrow means Thursday's are my Friday's. :)

Swap the chardonnay for some obscuro beer and that sounds just about right. ;)

I wish I were off tomorrow. Payday too. Which means tonight my only drinking opportunities will depend on charity. Unlikely charity at that. Anyone got a fiver for a baby-faced Manc-Skank?

Mailmonkey - I'm a fully paid-up beer snob. Except when I'm slumming it with McEwans or on a dirty weekend with the Spesh. Beer snobbery is great.

Being off work tomorrow means I have to work Saturday evening though. I hate it cuz I never get out on time and I have to ride the tube with all the drunken twats (she says contemplating the wine). :|

I'm on the Horlicks , but i da love a cup of English Breakfast tea , have one every morn with me meds , not t bags but proper leaves bloody lovely.
 
Again, I'm trying to to keep to the tea this evening but I had a bit of wine this afternoon only an hour or so after waking up :\
There's Gin downstairs though....

Now there's a thing Gin, I thought I had 3 kinds in the house (Gordon's, Hendricks & Tanqueray No. 10)so thought mmm G & T nice only to find out it had all gone!! Shit when did I drink it all...=D

really prefer Super Bock eh? its better than a lot of average UK lager but I well rate Sagres over it

seen that dark one need to try it :)

Aahhhh good ol' Gin - There one minute, gone the next! And it's seemingly taken yer memory with it :D
The "staying away from booze tonight" didn't work in the end. Having a glass of wine with a bit of Gin mixed in :| Fooooolish!

So far I've managed two nights off alcohol in the last couple of months. This isn't going well. :\
