Delish strain. Diesel Wreck is also fantastic.

This will only be the second time I've had it... I wish NYC would get on the ball with the Medical Marijuana thing. Even freaking New Jersey has a bill already. Probably because Chris Christie is a fat stoner on the low.

Speaking of dumbass politicians, I saw Anthony "text pictures of my weiner to the entire internet" Weiner coming out of a bakery this morning as I went to cop my diesel...

The Trainwreck -- I am salivating over -- Ahh, it will pair astoundingly with this heroin I'm already on. ;)

My girlfriend sure is taking her sweet time to get back here with it, though.

*drool* Sounds delicious.

So I guess I'm craving some tasty & potent MJ. ;)

I'm probably not gonna smoke for another week atleast. I usually end up regretting it when I'm in withdrawal from benzos.. If I do decide to smoke it'll have to be an indica as indicas are less likely to cause anxiety. If I had some hindu kush right now I'd smoke it. =D

indacas cause more anxiety, i thought. I never get any anxiety from cannabis, so i wouldn't know, but I thought sativas were higher in CBD, thus being more anxiolytic than indacas, which are more psychedelic (and therefore anxiety-inducing) due to their higher concentrations of THC.

don't you have that the opposite way around?

Me neither normally, but it does increase anxiety when it's already there. (The w/ds are making me feel anxious..)
I don't know which contains the most cannabinoids, but IME sativas are definitely more likely to increase anxiety I may be having. Indicas tend to calm me down and put my mind at ease. Sativas make my thoughts run wild. Normally I prefer smoking sativas, but when I'm experiencing anxiety it really increases that feeling. (Btw, more than 90% of the sativa strains are sativa-dominant hybrids. Pure sativas are very rare.)

bfotd, I think you have it backwards. I've always enjoyed Indica more because I don't get anxiety from it.

i'm craving to get off this backwards sleep schedule i'm on. for no reason at all, I'm up until 09.00 and sleep until 17.00 or so. pretty dumb.

got weed, alcohol and some butylone...

craving nothing that i can't get to quickly, LOL

this is the life

Hey me too. %) (except I don't sleep as long as you, unfortunately.. :()

ot: Craving some oxy.

Carl, I apologize for digging up a week old topic. I am not trying to target you, but your stance on this issue seemed jaded to me and I feel passionate about this particular issue. I must echo the plead not to pick up the needle to anyone who has only sniffed dope. Advice such as this should not be discouraged on a harm-reduction forum such as bluelight.

You're bringing up how heroin is running this person's life and the only thing you bring up is to not use the needle. That doesn't seem like harm reduction. That's prevention.

I just don't understand the idea that if heroin is already interfering with a person's life that advising them not to pick up the needle is considered harm reduction or anything other than a stigma regarding needles.

Harm reduction is the intention of reducing the negative consequences associated with human behavior, even if that behavior is illegal. Thus, if heroin is already a presence in someone's life, he would be practicing harm reduction by using the route of administration with the least negative consequences. It is widely accepted that the more rapidly drugs of abuse reach the brain the greater their potential for addiction.

Prevention is the intention of keeping someone from ever experimenting with heroin. Of course prevention is preferred, but the point of this website is to provide a support system, harm-reductionist knowledge base and sense of accountability for those in its community who have already failed to abstain. PillToChill is simply trying to spare a fellow bluelighter from progressing down a path that will make his current problem worse.

I would definitely agree that if you're having a problem with heroin then you probably shouldn't shoot it.
I just don't understand how if someone is saying that they're having a problem with heroin then the only advice given is "Don't go into shooting, and than acting like its helpful advice"

This seems contradictory, I don't quite understand your point here.

I found that rationale particularly alarming when it's coming from people who don't even shoot heroin, but still sniff heroin. It makes it seem like the issue merely relies on the ROA or as if things will somehow be ok so long as they don't switch to shooting.

Once again, ROA absolutely affects a drug's potential for addiction [one of many sources on this topic listed below.]. No one is saying that sniffing dope is okay.

@OP: Nothing, for once.
