How many Milligrams of CBD does it take to help with sleep and anxiety?

I’ve been taking 25 mg about an hour before bed. I find that I don’t wake up in the middle of the night with a panic attack anymore. If I have a tough day ahead I’ll take 25 or 50 mg in the morning.

Ive never heard of a psychiatrist saying that adhd and anxiety disorders (using benzodiazepines) couldnt be treated simultaneously.

In a way though, as sympathetic as I am, I do believe that benzodiazepines should be used less frequently than they are...

Clonidine works in this regard. Downside is initial fatigue and lethargy

I have crippling anxiety and the only thing that works for me is benzos and mirtazipine
Hydroxine did nothing, not even for my allergies and lyrica made me manic

Hydroxine works just like Benedryl is ok for light anxiety but anything rough it’s not gonna work you can build a tolerance and dependence for sleep if it works for you it works amazing for allergies lyrica is something way stronger for anxiety and is gonna have other side effects benzos withdraw make your anxiety worse seroquel and Hydroxine isn’t bad for anxiety but the combination can make you tired so your unable to take it at work because it can make you tired also so I would agree that Hydroxine alone for anxiety isn’t that effective I would say it works better for sleep

Right now, I am taking Busbar 30mg, Zoloft 100mg, Vistaril PAM 200mg, Ativan 2mg, and Clonidine 0.9mg. But they are not all prescribed for anxiety. It just ended up this way due to pain management and GAD treatment.

Vistaril PAM or (hydroxyzine pamoate) has the sedative properties that help with anxiety. Regular hydroxyzine is not what you want.

Taking Clonidine with Vistaril PAM & Ativan will really decrease anxiety and help induce healthy naps. Clonidine is the major contributing factor. I have been on it for 25 years and it never lets me down, always works. A Clondine 1.2mg PO (oral) dose will induce heavy sedation and is dangerous on so many levels. The long half-life is also dangerous for people taking Clonidine for off-label or non-prescribed ways such as combating opioid withdrawals.

Especially IV opioid disorders, the long half-life of Clonidine can linger and trick people into thinking it is out of the picture. Overdose from bradycardia is just one factor. As of now there is not a "reversal for Alpha-2 drugs" other than adrenaline, meth, or cocaine. Thus the issue with this "tranq-dope" Xylazine is an alpha-2 drug, but the Xylazine being used for tranq-dope comes from a concentrated version like 300mg/5mL. Clonidine is 40 times stronger than Xylazine mg vs mg.
