I care ALOT about animals.
When I hear of people blowing smoke into their pets face I tend to see red.
 
Its not like blowing smoke into a cats face a couple times in your life time is anywhere neart he same as like, getting your kid addicted to crack..It's not like your robbing them of your innocence, it's not abusing innocence and it's not cruelty nor abuse. Unless your doing this to your pet on a daily basis which I don't think anybody does. It's not even fucking bad to be 'intoxicated' by weed so whatever, I know the response im going to get is "YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENS TO AN ANIMAL WHILE INTOXICATED" No fucking shit I don't, that is not my point. If the being that was unknowingly intoxicated thinks of it so fucking badly wouldn't it like fucking run away or stop being nice to you, violence even, whatever man this isn't even what the post is about. Can someone like close this or something?

Since when don't we give our kids drugs? Do you realize how many children are on amphetamine, SSRIs, SNRIs, antipsychotics, antibiotics, etc.? The children have no idea what these drugs do until they feel the subjective effects after being told to take them by their parents. Is this immoral? If so, why is it accepted by nearly everyone in our societies?

We have our kids shot up with hardcore opioids and anaesthetics without their consent when they go to the hospital. We have our pets shot up with even more hardcore drugs when they go to the vet. Often vets inject them with sedatives just to shut them the hell up and keep them from squirming! Is this immoral?

I consider recreation one of the most powerful forms of medicine known to man. It'll often cure what ails ya.

I have a serious problem with the idea that recreational drug use is somehow unethical or less worthwhile than 'medicinal' drug use. I'm a hedonist and I think receiving pleasure is an important part of every conscious beings' experience here on earth. Laughter (one of the primary effects of cannabis intoxication) is often the best medicine.

I wouldn't want to deny anyone the chance to see what it's like to get 'high' on various drugs, as long as it's fairly safe for them to do so.

And yes, it's worth it to risk bad trips or panic attacks to try out a recreational drug.
 
^ nice me too, smokin a joint and i comes and sits on my lap and sorta sticks his face up to it ya'know. and whats goin on above you bro artic. i think many medicinal drugs are worse than many recreational drugs! some are in the same category its crayyyzeeee maing. when i was like 5 i went to the dentiest to get a tooth pulled, they didnt even tell me or my mother that they were goinna load me full of nitrous, all of a sudden, 3, 2, 1, goodnight says the doctor and im fucked and passed out!

edit:not claimin nitrous is horrible or anything but damn

Do I really have to explain as to why giving someone a life saving drug is more important than giving someone a recreational drug 'just to get high'?

what does trolling mean? please let me know because someone called me a troll for asking where a good place to do mdma other than a rave and i dont know what troll is(other than man under the bridge)

Analgesics and mood/mental disorder drugs aren't life-saving. They simply alleviate pain and suffering. Hard to separate recreation from medicine when you're talking about stimulants, opioids, and antidepressants.

I can be mistaken for a troll when I don't back down from my radical positions on law, morality, and politics.

I never said they were.
They are however medicinal.
Medicinal drugs are far more important than recreational drugs in my opinion.

I have a good example. My dog doesnt like weed. He gets all wobbaly. So i dont smoke around him. If hes in my room and im bout to toke i open teh door and he runs out.

Honestly, to me, it depends how the animal reacts to it. My friends cat loves getting high. She'll jump up on your lap and just stair at the blunt.

Some animals are good with it in my experience.
 
i have had pet rats that would actually come over to us when we were smoking and put their noses right into the smoke and inhale...
personally i have never heard of pot killing anything....
but i know that really good pot makes me paranoid and uncomfortable these days
actually i don't even smoke anymore; but i think it is because i was a junkie for so long that i lost interest - but i know other junkies who continued to smoke pot in addition to dope - so that may not be right either....

We really shouldn't into this but the consensus here is that giving your pets drug IS animal cruelty. You're not going to convince me or anyone else otherwise.
