OK, no hell out there for me. But that's the closest thing. To be trapped inside your brain with uber intelligence with only a twitch of communication remaining....argh! 8o
 
I'm hoping 70 but I have this horrible feeling it'll be sooner. I have so much I'd miss out on I really don't want to leave this world just now. I at least want another 15 years, 10 at least.
 
I'm seriously doubting theres enough left in my poor abused organs to make it to say, 30??
 
I'm 40 now but have always had the feeling its not going to be a long show , I'd be suprised if i made it much further than 60...no reason just how I've always viewed things
 
I simply hope my life has been filled with joy. I've had enough sorrow. I only look back upon happy times and learn from the sad.

quite right its quality not quantity to a large extent, I'm more concerned about enjoying life than when its happens to move on to the next adventure
 
Lets just hope our theory rings true.

There is still so much I want to do.

I want to live long enough to do the things I want to do. How ever, I doubt I'll live long enough to do them all.
 
before 35 hopefully, theres little worth saving , or wanting to live old for in todays world.
Maybe we will all die on the same day when the nukes start raining down, no doubt this will come one day terminator 2 style.

Now that's truly sad if you really think that. But I suspect you're in your teens or early 20's.

As for armageddon, you should have been around in London in the early 80's. Every time there was a strange sounding plane, I genuinely thought this is it. Everyone did. They were really bad times.

Bit patronising that don't ya think? I'm in my 30's and sometimes hope to die before I hit 70 odd. It's just a perpective thing and it's easy in todays climate to really think that there's not a lot to live for when you're old. Look at how many of the hgrey army are going to be around in the next 10 years, there's shed loads of em from the baby boom and they're just gonna get larger still.

That probably means no money for decent healthcare unless you go private, great. Pensions are fucked and most people now simply to struggle to house themselves and eat properly, let alone save up for the twilight years.

But as it's a perspective thing then some days it all doesn't seem quite so bad, very occasionally the world actually looks beautiful. There's no denying it though, this country is pretty fucked in many ways.
