I still believe MDB shouldn't be claiming benefits if it is for the reason he previously stated as being so he can get access to free adult education. But, to be fair I haven't read anything he's written properly for a while.

Regarding MDB claiming, I'd read the rest of the thread and some of MDB's other ones where he's detailed why he quit his job. I think you'd probably come to the conclusion he's entitled to be claiming atm.
 
Using the Universal Jobmatch website to try and find a job is starting to become a joke. It was bad enough in the first place.
Today I was using it to search for jobs within 20miles from where I live.
It was returning results for Translators,Chemists, Physicists,Teachers and even a GP.
How many of us that are being told we should use Universal Jobmatch could actually apply for any of those jobs?
A lot of jobs on there are also repeated as well so it makes it appear that there are more jobs available than there actually are.

When in was in Oxford job search was useless, like you said you get loads of trained jobs, it being Oxford you got loads of graduate jobs for scientists and other highly trained specialists jobs. Buy for 'normal' jobs it had fuck all. Utterly useless for 'normal' jobs.

mdb there are plenty decent folk on here all willing to give people time if they are having a difficult time of things, but really, don't expect people kind enough to give you some time to be considerate towards you to have endless patience. It's not fair, and it's not doing you any good to slag people off and throw it all back in their face.
