We're just an agitation

Our entire goal in life is to go to entropy. We are just a vibration in the universe, with equal and opposite agitations around us. We excite, the vibration wanes and we cease to exist. Time is meaningless!

I disagree. Entropy may be the way of the universe at large, but just look at our bodies. They're entropy-excluding machines. The body's process of "homeostasis" keeps it in an ordered state, despite the entropy surrounding it.

I hold that my purpose is to maintain ordered vibration against the chaotic world around me. Not in defiance, but as a symbol of pride. To loudly declare to whomever could possibly see, that

I!
Am!
Life!

and eventually, you'll lose. no one will remember your grand accomplishment of not being dead. :)
But while you're at it, eat some ice cream...or kulfi or gelato, I like kulfi the best, but gelato is pretty good too.

You may be right, we may simply cease to exist, but thats depressing as shit, so i refuse to believe it. The cool thing is if im wrong, ill never know it, haha

One more thing, do yourself a favor and google "near death experiences", goto the first site and read the NDE stories, it gives me hope.

what else could exists besides the infinite, the unfinite?

either way something is there, and i dont mean your idea of god...
;)

... and what then came before this temporary existence?

preternal?

most wholy madjestic unfinite preternal!

ive always thought we are a collection of incremental bacteria that has successfully colonized within our bodies and forcing the previous systems to adapt without killing their host. each bacteria sends us information letting us know what it needs to survive as if we are a thinking ant pile.

and this is an evolutionary scheme and i will not stand for it.

evolution is impossible, the grand canyon was carved out by farmers.

I'm not sure if you are being sarcastic or not, but i've thought things along these lines before. It's difficult to articulate my thoughts on exactly why, but the concept of dreaming always made me move away from this. If our own bacteria is guiding our thought process, then what thought process is guiding our dreams. Or at least why dream at all then?

Dreaming is a subconscious purging of sorts.

Although, I have had numerous "dreams" lately shared with other people across the world. I cant deny the obsolete-ness of coincidence and superstition anymore.

I agree, entropy is the goal. Success in society is often achieved by maintaining order, and our bodies try to evolve and reproduce and stay stable. But when you disregard these goals, you start negating everything that's pressing you in, and then the boundaries just dissolve, and you can fade into anywhere or nowhere or whatever lol.
