and eventually, you'll lose. no one will remember your grand accomplishment of not being dead.I disagree. Entropy may be the way of the universe at large, but just look at our bodies. They're entropy-excluding machines. The body's process of "homeostasis" keeps it in an ordered state, despite the entropy surrounding it.
I hold that my purpose is to maintain ordered vibration against the chaotic world around me. Not in defiance, but as a symbol of pride. To loudly declare to whomever could possibly see, that
I!
Am!
Life!
proof is in the puddingEverything is meaningless.
Dying neurons give you hope? Strange. One more thing, do yourself a favor and google "near death experiences", goto the first site and read the NDE stories, it gives me hope.

ive always thought we are a collection of incremental bacteria that has successfully colonized within our bodies and forcing the previous systems to adapt without killing their host. each bacteria sends us information letting us know what it needs to survive as if we are a thinking ant pile.
I'm not sure if you are being sarcastic or not, but i've thought things along these lines before. It's difficult to articulate my thoughts on exactly why, but the concept of dreaming always made me move away from this. If our own bacteria is guiding our thought process, then what thought process is guiding our dreams. Or at least why dream at all then?
