I'm new also!

I'm Bernie. I just turned 21 a couple of months ago & am still left wondering where on earth the last 4 years have gone :\

I live in on the outskirts of inner-city Sydney & i'm currently deferred from my psychology degree at uni. I do the boring accounting/bookwork for my parents...it's hard to fit work in around my sports practise. I'm a bit of a meathead sportsbuff. I've been in the rave scene for about 4 years now. I listen to trance [mostly tech-trance], prog, breaks...erm...actually pretty much everything. Umm...i talk alot & laugh even more, and i always seem to fall over my own feet & walk into low hanging branches. Thank god i know how to laugh at myself..

OH and i love randoms <3

hi everyone in Australian Social...

I have already posted a few times but I thought I'd formally introduce myself...

My name is Jill and I'm 21 from Brisbane...I read this site for ages before I worked up the courage to actually participate...but I wanted to join in because the posts always make me laugh as well as the fact I have learnt so much from this site.

I study at the moment, i'm in my fourth year of a pr/journalism degree. WOO! one year to go.

People would probably describe me as crazy. But I hate it when people describe themselves as crazy, so I will say "a mass of contradictions". I have a pretty black/charcoal sense of humour...I love laughing.

I like...walks on the beach, sunsets, good wine, cheese, good books (bret easton ellis - jane austen - I read anything). Nah, seriously (well all those are true but I'm not that cheesy). I like writing - (some kind of novel, my diary, posts on websites), movies (i work there and i like REALLY crap movies as well as "good" arthouse/foreign films) aagh this bio is making me sound like a professional wanker 8) . I like the 80's, funny op shop clothes, pink (the colour), addictive tv shows, cordial, vodka, pizza, MUSIC (especially depressing and trashy), thinking (OMG did I just write that?), playing with friends, uh yeah, probably best if you want to get to know me better just Pm me or whatever or anyway hopefully you'll get to know me better from my posts. :\ Hopefully that did not come off as sounding TOO much like some dodgy personals ad.

I am a Melbourne lad who has been bumming round the seen for a while now. I got tired of meeting so many cool bluelighters while out n about, n saying 'nah I just read the pill reports', so I thought I would finally get off my arse and register.

My main interests include music, blurred and or colourfull visions, botany, ethnobotany and environ science stuff.

I would also like to let a big yell out to all those Melbourne bluelighters who are still having memories of laughing fits caused by the surprising enterance of a big fluffy, nang bringing PENGUIN on the weekend!!!!! =D I must say, that made my week!

HI! I've been lurking around for a week or so, and finally joined up!

I'm a 20 y/o male living just outside the suburbs of Melbourne. During the week, i am an oppressed and suffering student, struggling against the injustices of a course designed to imprint commercial strictures upon an artform as open as writing.
On weekends, i am an oppressed and suffering Kitchen hand, struggling against the injustices of world that makes the only available source of income a weekend job.
And sometimes, in between, i just crap on.
 
Welcome LSpace - You should try and make it to a Melbourne meetup oneday and meet a few of the other Groovers in your local vacinity!

fairie: i will second that motion of another meet.im sure one will be orgniased soon that isnt an event. im waiting till after the footy finishes to start goin out again when my work load eases.
