I couldn't go to the doof near Newcastle today (well, yesterday and today really, but I haven't been to bed yet), so I settled for the next best thing: hanging out here. I figured I'd actually say hi today, I hadn't noticed this thread before but I guessed it wasn't the done thing to start a whole new thread just to introduce myself. Good thing I didn't decide to do that and make an ass of myself. 8( =D

hey im from sydney, ive been reading the threads for ages but only started posting recently. Go out heaps, next big outing is utopia oct long weekend. Im 21, single, the story behind my nickname is pretty lame, its my fav. car. Work in a shit job that i hate, spend most of my money on going out, making sure my friends have a good time etc, clothes, cars. I love freestyle BMX riding. I ride up at my local skate park as much as i can (go St Ives Skate Park Massive!) I love my dance music, namely Drum & Bass and Hard Trance (Transmission flash back) love other music too, my fav band in the world is Tool, followed by Rage Against The Machine and A Perfect Circle. See you all at Utopia, ill be the guy with bigger than normal pupils. Must be the sunlight that does that to em! :o)
 
Hello everybody. i guess i just have to start posting in the australia section because, well, im not strictly australian, but i would like to consider myself one :)

Actually, im fully chinese, but i was raised in Melbourne, in the sub urban areas and now im in Hong Kong. But i plan to go back for university- either in Monash or Uni of Melb.

For those who cant read big chucks of text, here's the short form:
A/S/L= 18, male, hong kong (but moving to aussie soon)

i suppose, please welcome me? *shy smile*

oh, and i would like to know, what kind of environment is in in melbourne? what is it like in monash/melbourne university? are peopel there crazy and all take drugs? or is that an inappropriate question? :)

Melbourne is the best city in the world (considering i've only ever been in 1 other time zone, and that was south australia)...it's great culture, friendly people, great parties + music, yes people take drugs here too.....you'll love the whole experience i am sure :) Let us all know when you get here!!

Thought i'd better introduce myself to my fellow Aussies.. i'm male, 25 from Darwin.. Got the same habits as most of us here on this site (weed/pills/alcohol/tobacco).. Into nearly all types of music, lately more into electronic / pills scene.. favourite bands are 311 + Smashing Pumkins.. My nick doesn't mean much, just a name that stuck from baseball days with birth year on the end...
Ummm, not sure what else to say at this stage, I've done a lot of dumb things and seem to only learn life lessons the hard way?
Hopefully, I'll get to know you all better with time and spill more stories about myself..
 
Arg. okok. just found this thread too.

Um.....30 in under 2 weeks....not looking forward to that. Just getting back into the scene after many years off (damn relationships crushing my spirit).
Am mucho pleased by the events in Perth being a Hobart lad from way back.

Am into whip, pills not so heavy into booze anymore though O_o
Love the hardcore and dance all night to greet the dawn.
