Weekly Bluelight photography contest Round 1: Macro

My other one wasn't macro, i'm not trying to win anyways, you can have ALL the admiration. =p I'll just delete the other since it didn't fit the catagory. Happy ?

Yeah, I guess. I just don't understand why you posted a non-macro picture in a macro themed contest?

Because I didn't originally understand the concept of macro. My camera had a macro setting but that wasn't exactly it.
 
jeesus ive got like 100+ totally killer macro shots so fuckin hard to pick

but ill put up this 1, its two dragonflies mating, dont ask me how the hell the mating works, yes, its tail is inside the other ones head (!?), these fawkers were deepthroatin long before neanderthals..

funny everyone posts pics of insects (Pharoah Sphinx i love that one btw)

i had the PERFECT image of this, found a gigantic, and imean like bigger than my hand, praying mantis in my back yard, it let me get very close to it and i took a HUGE digi pic of it, like was a 4-5mb jpeg. sadly, it was lost with thousands of other pics when i blew up my old hard drive.

i love pics of insects theyre really cool creatures.

BA i think architecture is a cool idea for a topic some week.

are you cross-processing these? If so, got pics? :) I just popped a roll of slide into my cam and I'm hoping some intense images will develop... i just hope this thread will stay active by the time I buy the digi SLR i've been saving for. fuck, bluelight is awesome.

my camera lens and body are the same thing :) i use a lowly canon sd400. it looks like this:

it's so tiny i can carry it everywhere, the battery last for ever, the software is easy to use and it takes pretty good pics. i love it.
