Here is some background. I smoke pot... a lot. I basically had to smoke all day because I craved it so much. If I went for a few hours without taking a rip from the bong, I would get seriously distracted, just thinking about smoking more. It really interfered with my school work (doing homework is hard for me while blazed... and I was always blazed).
So here is the story. Several weeks ago I dropped acid for the first time, and it was amazing. I can't believe how much of an experience it was. After it though, I found that I didn't crave weed. At all. My craving was completely gone. I still smoke, because I still enjoy it, but I have absolutely no subconscious desire to toke up. I only smoke when I decide that I want to. I thought that it might have just been temporary, cause the LSD was still in my system. However, it has been several weeks and I still have no craving. Even though I keep smoking, it is as though my addiction is completely gone.
The reason I am posting this here is because I want to know if there is any scientific basis in LSD negating an addiction to marijuana.
Thank you,
Spix
