[Dunno about that mate, Murali is easily good enough in my eyes to have got all his wickets no matter who was bowling at the other end. I remember watching him once at Edgbaston. The pitch wasn't really doing much for him so he was bowling leg breaks ala Shane Warne. Not his doosra, bowling like a specialist leg spinner. He was getting wickets doing it too, I think we either lost easily or we just clung on for the draw then lost the next test at Trent Bridge easily due to there being no rain delays. I was in Kandy (His Home ToWn) when Murali went past the test wicket Record , it was bedlam their was a huge poster of him in the ground and when he took the wicket of Collingwood their was gun fre in the air the lot , a coup[le of stray bullets actually hit the huge poster.
Great tour terrible cricket from England though , they just couldn't hack it on the dry pitches.
