Paterson didn't bowl in the second innings and he has been the best bowler from either team in the first two tests. WACA up next and Australia have Watson, Johnson and Starc to add to their line up where as SA are seriously going to miss Kalis. I can't imagine these two teams will draw three matches in a row.

Sri Lanka 3/12. I'm going to bed with tempered hopes that NZ might be in front when I wake.

Oh how you must yearn for the days when McGill was a second spinner , that was crazy . I heard he had a attitude problem any truth in that ?
 
Three out of the four England match-winners in this Test went to school within 20 miles of where I did.

The other one went to school over 8000 miles away.

McGill played for Australia, I yearn for the days of Sir Hadlee and Lance Cairns ;)
 
I luv Cairns style , Coney is very funny oh n i had a picknic with your man M. Crowe Vettori was a pioneer of spectacles , n i wear em so he is a hero to me.

McCullum is jonny Blaze , Southee is he , could he be ?

I thought you were an Aussie you do post about them often .

Shame that it was only a 2 match series in Sri Lanka . Would have been nice to have one in Kandy for the travelling fans . If your going to do Sri Lanka you want to do all 3 of the major Cities .

I thought Southee bowled fantastic in the 1st innings getting rid of the Top Order .
