To be honest I just enjoy 8 solid hours sitting in the sun at the Gabba getting tipsy and feel like 20/20 is a form of premature ejaculation. ;)

Flat pitch Sehwag was back to his old self , the new lad CA Pujara looks pretty good as well with a 206n/o

Tendulkar should really of retired i think , he will probably get a ton in the next match /innings but i realy doubt he will ever again against quality opposition.
 
As you probably are well aware it is common practise for the groundsmen in INdia to get a back hander. It's not usually needed but the option is always their .

As if the sub cont. is hard enough what with the attrition & partisan crowds
 
yeah Cook was the best of a bad bunch so far the rest of em have been terrible 110/7 at Lunch .

Naive going in to a Sub Cont Test with one proper spinner .

Fuk India could afford to leave out 409 Test wickets in Harbhajan Singh

I posted at stumps when it was 41/3, really didn't expect to wake up and see England batting again.

Kiwis in trouble against Sri Lanka, unsurprisingly. Might struggle to better 191.
 
That's a pretty pedestrian bowling attack their That Sri Lanka have . Herath is decent but the quicks ? well non spin bowlers all struggle to get above 80mph n Chaminda Vass they are not .

Galle is the most amazing place i have ever watched a a Test Match . Don't expect your team to win but it's worth going just to see this

Kiwis had Sri Lanka 50-5, Matthews and Jayawardene had a 140 run partnership then we knocked over the tail. We're 1 down with a lead of 9 at stumps. Could actually make it an interesting finish. (What wil actually happen: Taylor will make 80, the rest of the Kiwis will scratch around for 15 or 20. Sri Lanka will need 230 to win and will lose early wickets, but a big middle order partnership will see them win by 4 or 5 wickets). And Brimz, that does look amazing. Maybe I'll get out there in a few years....NZ have got a ODI series there next November....
 
Yeah Cook is a great talent i new he was going to be good when he got a ton in his 1st test in India as a late call up .

I think Prior deserves his props as well he has firmly established himself as Keeper & bats superbly . we tried loads of players looking for a wicket keeper Batsman & it looked like no one was going to make the grade including Prior himself , but he has improved loads & is as hugely important to the balance of the team .
