Nah man, with respect an' all that, but this is not how the traditional English cricket fan sees things. You get ahead of yourself with yer BHM predictions of 150 all out and you get spanked by a noob for 98.

So let's not get ahead of ourselves. Of course, realistically, we're favourites now. But no-one was calling us favourites with Clarke going well at 150-3.

And they haven't got 90 overs to survive with 4 wickets. They need about 140. That's gettable by Tea.

and shm, its all very well to be wise after the act. had agar been given run out when he shouldve, australia would indeed've been out for 150, or thereabouts



its all fun and games. i heard mcgrath talking on TMS today. annoyingly, he actually seems like a real nice guy. makes me feel better about rating him as the greatest pace bowler ive ever seen - but you guessed it, he's still predicting 5-0. so lets not get too hung up on the business of predictions, they are largely useless for anything other than poking fun at antipodeans through a thin veneer of straight-faced logic
 
I think no matter how pale all our skin is, we would rather anyone other than India was the worlds number 1 test side. I still maintain that Australia bat low. Siddle and Patterson are usually good enough for 30 runs each and haddin has feasted on the English bowlers more than once in the past. 140 can obviously be knocked over by tea, even batting as slow as boring, boring England have this test
