*WARNING* NEWS: Western Australia -> Police warn of circulating PMA pills *WARNING*

Just saw a closeup on Ten news, Pretty sure it looked like a Mitsubishi logo.
Yeah it was. They had a score on the back and a ring around the edge on the face of the pill with the logo. Probably around 8mm x 3mm. I would advise against buying any pill with the Mitsubishi logo on or any similar looking pills (same colour, shape, texture etc).

^^^

Definitely Mitsubishi logo, looked a lot lighter coloured than those in the picture in the thread.

if the color looked alot different and the bags looked different then it's possible that the tv news did not have actual video footage or similar and used archive footage of other ecstasy pills , they do this quite often.

Anyhow maybe the Mercedes logo or Mitsubishi logo ??

as they do look somewhat similar and in trying to see on tv would be hard to tell between the two ??

Maybe someone will email the WA police for a better photo ..

You have to love the comments on the news.com website in response to this story...

Some of those people are so stupid I wonder how they even manage to remember to breathe. That Garn person in particular. What a fucking oxygen waster, ramping on about "ice" when the story was cleary about pills adulaterated with pma.:X

Shame that they didn't release a more detailed description of the pills. It would be especially good to know the exact contents of them, just in case something else is in them to fool test kits.

They had the police officer talking about the drugs, then tipping them onto a bench, so I don't know if the picture they put out was different or what.

Thanks sonome for the image =). These are what they were showing on the news, they might not be the same pills that were in the News Release.

color looks way different ... it could be the lighting .. but the top ones look alot more mustard yellow in color and the mitsubishi's in bottom photo look just slighty offwhite anyhow hopefully there will be more info as the days progress so we can 100% be sure what to avoid but as I see it all beige/yellow pills are off my list.

@Salty24 So he was speaking about the drugs then all of a sudden it went to someones hand with bag of pills pouring out into a table so you did not actually see police officer with pills in hand in same frame then pour them out ? chances are it probably archive footage and police officer being interviewed did not have time to go and collect the evidence for the news crew to view.

anyhow hopefully there will be more info as the days progress so we can 100% be sure what to avoid but as I see it all beige/yellow pills are off my list.

looks like I will stick with the chipmonks as theres plenty of them around and they are safe.

Death to the cook of these "Copy Mitsubishi's"... There were some awesome beige/white Mitsubishi's going around a while back..

Be careful people..

Heard about this while out and about in town today (perth resident) - Beige/yellow mitsis are confirmed in circulation, a warning has been spread in the community.

Please dont even start to bel;ieve these are the same pills or the from the same batch.

This is whats called a file photo that channel nine have easily on hand.

There is no guarantee that this is a photo of the dud pills.

It is in fact very dangerous to suggest they are unless it is beyond doubt. Someone may be happy to go ahead and buy any beige pill thats not a mitsu and think they are safe.

I would ask that maybe this representation be removed from this thread.

That's certainly something I had in mind as well; though I'd heard sporadic reports today by word of mouth about yellow mitsis, this was before the TV article.

Yep as you can clearly see there is a major difference in color ... and Dr War you say also people heard about this before the tv report but is there a chance that those people saw the news report early in the morning which may have replayed the same at 6pm ? theres that possibility as well ..

thats what they do mostly ... repeat , repeat , repeat same stories all day unless something bigs happening then its live coverage.

and the good old archive photos always mislead us ..

MazDan as you pointed out until 100% we can say the mitzis are the pills in question then we still need to be careful .. so testing pills that are of yellow or beige appearance should be done if you dont have a test kit and your not sure then don't consume!!

Just to clarify, the picture I posted was a screencap from 9 News' 6pm broadcast - video footage, rather than a photo. That said, it could very well be archive footage so people should definitely take due care.

In the video the pills were shown being poured from a plastic evidence container (rather than stored in bags as in the police photo). Later in the broadcast a police officer held one up as he was talking about them. The segment was repeated in ACA's broadcast - I noted then that the colour of the mitzis appeared slightly more yellow than in my screencap (somewhere between the colour of the pills in the screencap and those in the police photo).

They look a lot like NNaps special edition of "Crowns", which are thin mitsi logos.
They report to contain small doses of methedrone [bk-PMA] and DMAA

Someone needs to talk to the news organisations about how dangerous it is to just put up any old file photo when talking about a potentially lethal batch of drugs. Until we can confirm which pills are being talked about people should exercise extreme caution, especially out west and especially if your cook has been busted recently.

Once it is confirmed, I'm sure one of us will edit the OP and edit out all other photos.

Ok well heres the Perth 9 news video about the pills -->

police officer wearing gloves with a big bag full of containers with white/beige pills that when poured out show the same mitsubishi pills ..

They definately focus attention on those mitsubishi pills ...BUT after trying to read through all the bullshit trying to work it out what do we have an answer ?

listening to the report they say PMA is imported ... wtf ? then they said its the biggest seizure in WA in decade.

anyhow good work --> kKL & sonome for their help.

I did notice that we were shown alot more than a 1000 pills especially when we see that big table with all those containers laid out and just before they go to the rave they show a glimpse of a bag of completely different pills ...

I think we should all just avoid that mitsubishi pill just to be on the safe side ...

The color difference is still a big worry ... For all we know all photos we have been given by the news could all be archive/file photo from completely different busts years ago...

Someone definately needs to contact the WA police to get a sure answer ...

Also; the report says these were sized nearly a month ago? has it really taken that long to process, analyse, and warn the public? These could be long gone by now.
