Look I'm not being nasty or have anything against people who do it but like...what sort of recommendation is that? Seriously.
Telling people to try Herion? Thats prob. the worst drug out there with negatives out-weighing meth and other harsh drugs out there. Im not dissing anyone that does it but like encouraging some new people to try Heroin when you clearly know that is worst than Meth.
Anyone here agree with me on this one?
Well in the spirit of harm reduction, nobody should ever recommend heroin or any strong opiate to someone curious to move on to harder drugs. Heroin is very addicting but then again so is Meth... it depends on the person as to which drug would be easier to avoid a dependency - everyone is different.
I am a former heroin addict, and also someone who has taken dexamphetamine close to every day for years. The dex I no longer abuse, just take as directed, and I haven't touched heroin in a couple months (now also off the suboxone train!). I have never tried meth so I cannot comment on that specifically.
I've heard those who have been/are addicted to both drugs (heroin and meth) say it is a crapshoot. Many people say meth is easier to get hooked on after the first use than with heroin... but that if you play around long/hard enough with strong opiates, heroin will grip you harder eventually. The key with both, however, is to avoid addiction to either.
So whatever you try, simply make yourself not do it or think about it again for at least a week or two. Anything less and you're in for trouble. Hard drugs are called that for a reason... there are hard lessons to be learned.
It is also worth noting that pure heroin (or any opiate not named demerol), and its effects on the body, is *much* more mild of a drug than methamphetamine. This is a fact... meth is toxic, especially when abused, to the heart and nervous system while opiates are completely non-toxic. This conclusion mostly points to short-term or one-time effects... get addicted to either drug and you'll end up sickly.
