Surprised you can't see the massive bulge in this photo! Your balls are larger than mine, sir
lolz. I should have added that they shrank much with age.

Also, I must admit that I was a few months out of the psych ward and had quit all my meds cold turkey upon arriving in the mountains :woah: So I wasn't exactly in a rational frame of mind. Don't get me wrong, I was trained how to handle the snakes by someone who previously interned with a wildlife biologist but with the small amount of experience/training, I prolly should have been more closely supervised. I have grown much more chicken and wouldn't think of doing any of it again.

I've got a million pictures of wild animals, especially these days. Not too long ago I moved to a wooded area and all the local wildlife are pretty familiar with me given my tendency to give them snacks 😌. I'm a bit of an animal whisperer, probably stemming from being a vet tech for a bit (though it started before that). My girlfriend calls me snow white 🤔

^^^ My deer mouse friend

^^^ A baby squirrel I found and was unable to reunite with her mother. Ended up taking her to a wildlife rehabber.

^^^ My juvenile hawk friend

You do realize your hawk friend wants to eat all your other friends, right?

Yeah I've come to that realization unfortunately.

My deal with him is that he's welcome as long as he leaves the quail and squirrels alone. Everything else is fair game. I prefer for him to get the mourning doves, which he has snagged. I don't have much affection for those birds, they have a shitty attitude.

But the hawk is surprisingly friendly, he'll even hang around when im outside, he seems curious about me

If he went for a quail i would probably chase him off. Its funny i had never seen a quail in person till i moved here, they are such charismatic and friendly birds. If i leave my door open they'll come inside and walk around.

This is my entry.

You and your wild life. I am surprised you haven't snatched yourself a wild woman. ;) Just kidding of course.

That is cool. Oh oHH. I forgot about the snake. I can't vote now because I am stuck between the snake and the bird. Lool.

That was kewl. :knife:

Definitely wild.

they do that at my house too - i don't like when they do that tho - they fuck up the screen - i shoot em with a water pistol when they do that

one time in the summer, i left a bag of peanuts on the window sill with the window open, and i walked away and one ate a hole through the screen

great shots by the way

I've got to try to find another photo opportunity. I like my entry, but I don't love it. Not really the best time of year for it, though we're getting close. Better time of the year for Aussies, though...
