violence in cronulla - a recreation of... (MERGED)

Zero the hero: Chronik Fatigue has already been shot down by other people for those comments - don't inflame the situation more. I know you're passionate about this, but the style of argument you're using isn't going to help. For every one good point you make (and you do make some good points), you also make twice as many abusive attacks. When people read your posts, it's the attacks and not the good points that they remember, and that's how things go round and round.

The people in this thread who take extreme views and can't see this as an issue with problems on both sides are not worth even acknowledging. I'm quite interested in the line of thinking that Psychocibe has opened up, and hopefully more people will address these sorts of deeper issues rather than going over the already well established points that lie on the surface.

Officer Chops it is most certainly not in retaliation to any threats from Sydney.

There are no racial/ethnics gangs up here on the coast, the message was obviously spread by some moron who wants in on some of the Sydney action by starting shit up here.

The obvious grammatical and spelling errors prove that it was not originally sent by the brightest person but by a complete dickhead.

I predict if anything happens a bunch of drunken white bogans will turn up, and when they find out there is no big war going to happen will end up smashing things and beating each other up. Which is fine by me. Fucking automatons.

I'm tempted to turn up wearing klan robes. The media would jump right on that and the dickheads involved would all be made to look like nazis by association. A label they whole-heartedly deserve.

Never thought Australia or Bluelight would degenerate in to this. We should have some standards.

well as you all know the violence at crunulla is aussies vs. people of middle eastern appearence or thats what ive seen on the news ect.
- i am not a racist, ive just been thinking about it and what i think happend and then it just seemed like id seen it all before

starts off with a aussie neighbourhood for a long time, a beach were there is no violence or much illeagal activity. then the "leb gangs" come and take over, beating people up, threatening the aussie community, shouting offencive language and general disrespect for other people and pushing them out of what was there area.
the "aussies" get sick of this and finally want to stand up against the "leb" gangs that came from the other side of town and organise an uprising. it all gets out of hand and people forget the reason they are fighting them and everything gets out of controll and they become plain racist.

dosent this seem almost exactly the same as what happend in the movie American History X? (in the movie the black gangs come from the other side of the city and take over venice beach CA and the white teenagers are sick of being pushed around and organise to get back at them, they eventully become neonazis and hate all blacks not just the gang members)

probly just a silly post but i thought id post it anyway to see if anyone else can see the connection

I know I do, points that challenge what other people have been screaming about Australia being this overtly racist nation, funny no one cares to answer any of them...? You are right though, I'll TRY my best to keep my personal attacks to a minimum.

That's what I was saying - a lot of people probably haven't even noticed any of the good points that you made, because they got to a bit where you were abusive and just dismissed your whole post as a mindless rant.

And that goes for a lot of other people too, and also just in general for discussing topics like this on the internet. It's hella easy to just scream and yell, but it drowns out your message and people just reply to the bits where you attacked them rather than addressing your underlying argument. :)

More than likely someone who got that SMS informed the police who followed it up.

It'd be very unlikely they just did a blind search on every SMS being sent. If they were doing that I think you'd have a lot more drug dealers being caught...
 
I don't think this is such a racial issue. Fuck the media. Fuck people that can't make their minds up for them selfs. I dont want to have to go out there and tell people what is right from wrong. Every mother fucking thing on this plant knows the difference. The fight for survival is the issue, and i dont relay see why people think they are losing something. Its lame that people cant look at both sides.

yeah you're right. I think we should have designated "Middle Easterner" zones and designated "White Only" zones. Oh, and we should change that age old saying to "two wrongs make a right".

change "Americans" to "Ethnic groups", change "Aus Social" to "Sutherland Shire", change "users" into "locals" and then "forum" into suburb.
